Tired of the platitudes, the disingenuousness, and the shit-shoveling by politicians.
I also noticed the top-tiers were positioned center stage, with Dr. Ron and Tom Tancredo on the ends.
Coincidence?
Here are my comments on the candidates:
Fred Thompson: Everything the MSM said he is. He seemed disinterested, lacking in knowledge and nuance, and spitting out obvious-- and false -- platitudes. No depth to the man. If they want to nominate Freddie the Failure, Hillary should start measuring drapes.
Rudy Giuliani: He looked evry bit like the vituperative dicatator he would be. Rudy would be a DISASTER for this country. The last thing we need is a co-conspiring 9/11 criminal with militarism on the brain and an Iranian hair up his ass.
Mitt Romney: What a piece of slimy shit this guy is (and I know, he was my governor for four years)! After Matthews asked him how he would deal with Muslim feelings of discrimination, Romney went on to say he'd follow them everywhere and discriminate. Romney is the SLICK MITTY like Clinton was a SLICK WILLIE! The Republicans Clinton!!!
John McCain: The guy seemed even more like an old, senile fossil tonight. Couldn't hear the questions, and didn't answer them. I'm sick of the old war hero shtick. When the guy is rabidly militaristic with an itchy trigger finger, I don't want his mentally-damaged brain n the White House.
Sam Brownback: This guy was so out of touch as to why we went to Iraq. If he is going to spout discredited lies to justify staying, well...
Duncan Hunter: As we get to the end, the candidates referred to now had less and less stage time. Any surprise? Dunc is just a truly frightening individual, whose continuing references to the Communist Chinese (actually authoritarians now, but...) made me feel like he belonged back in the 1950s. Not the man for 2008.
Mike Huckabee: This guy should have just saluted Sig Heil when asked about Congressional authorization for war on Iran. This is what disturbed me about the whole debate; other than Dr. Paul, all these candidates are fascistas!!! If you DON'T CARE about the CONSTITUTION, then I got NO USE FOR YOU, Huck!!!
Tom Tancredo: Tom gets a little nutty at times (bombing Mecca and Medina not a good idea) and gets pigeon-holed with the immigration issue a lot, but given the MSM media and its bias, I figure Tom is getting screwed by the "news." Any guy that is told by Karl Rove he is unwelcome at the White House -- and would TELL BUSH to FUCK OFF if he won the office -- is an O.K. guy in my book!!! Ever since Tom said that at the first debate, I have respected him.
Ron Paul: Dr. Paul not only won this debate going away; he proved he is the only decent, honorable, respectable and honest candidate in the whole lot! Ron Paul is truly a great man for doing what he is doing -- and putting up with the mistreatment from the MSM. I would have thrown in the towel at this point. Five years of school was enough to beat me down. I'm just sick of confronting and responding to lie upon lie from this government and media.
And once again, Ron got the best of Giuliani. Rudy tried to insult Ron by saying he didn't know where he was on 9/11, but that was an imminent attack on America.
Actually, no, Rudy, because as Condi said "I don't think anybody could have predicted that these people would take an airplane and slam it into the World Trade Center, take another one and slam it into the Pentagon; that they would try to use an airplane as a missile, a hijacked airplane as a missile."
Even though intelligence services from at least a dozen countries warned US officials of an impending attack involving the use of hijacked airliners as missiles. The FBI was on top of the story, too. At least, several field agents were.
You CAN'T HAVE IT BOTH WAYS, Rudy!!!
Either the attack was imminent (which means at the least, the GOVERNMENT KNEW) or they were totally caught by surprise (therefore, how could they know an "imminent" attack was coming)!!!
Either way THIS GOVERNMENT HAS LIED REPEATEDLY about 9/11!!
And Ron was right on the point, too: The alleged PATSIES that attacked us on 9/11 were NOT a COUNTRY!!!!
I've never been one to look to leaders as saviors, folks, but this country is doomed if Ron Paul does not win the presidency.
It is as simple as that, and is confirmed every time I watch a Democrat or Republican debate!
