The Two Faces of John McCain

There is the peaceful side:

"McCain's message to China

ASPEN, Colo. - Republican presidential candidate John McCain yesterday called on China to release Tibetan prisoners as he met with the Dalai Lama.

After a 45-minute meeting with the Tibetan spiritual leader, McCain said the Beijing Olympic Games in August provide an opportunity for China to demonstrate that it recognizes human rights. He also said the Dalai Lama is merely seeking basic rights to preserve Tibetan culture, language, and religion.

Must have been a tough meeting for John!

"That's why I'm so disappointed by repeated statements by Chinese officials that ascribe to the Dalai Lama views and actions divorced from what he actually represents," McCain said. "Such rhetoric doesn't serve a cause of peaceful change and reconciliation."

And what (or whom) does he represent, readers?

I can see why the support now!

The Dalai Lama praised McCain for his concern, but he emphasized he wasn't endorsing McCain's presidential bid (AP July 26, 2008)."

What a disappointment that guy is!

And then there is the warlike side:

WASHINGTON - After days of responding to Senator Barack Obama's overseas tour with off-the-cuff jabs, Senator John McCain yesterday tried a new tactic, delivering a detailed argument accusing his Democratic opponent of favoring an Iraq policy that would have had American troops "retreat under fire."

Obama not only opposed the "surge" of 30,000 troops last year that has lessened the violence in Iraq, McCain said, "but actually tried to prevent us from implementing it. He didn't just advocate defeat, he tried to legislate it."

And that defeat, the presumptive Republican nominee suggested, would have left America "humiliated and weakened" and could have led to genocide in Iraq and a wider war in the Middle East.

First of all, the invasion and occupation HAS MADE US WEAKER and HUMILIATED US!!

Secondly, since pricks like McCain were WRONG GOING IN, why should we listen to their bullshit now?

And lastly, the WIDER WAR is being teed up by your Zionist masters, asshole!!!!

Had Obama's strategy been followed, McCain, in a speech to the American GI Forum in Denver, a predominantly Hispanic-American veterans group, said the Iraqi Army would have collapsed, Al Qaeda would have killed Sunni sheikhs who rebelled against the insurgents, and "civil war, genocide, and wider conflict would have been likely. . . . As Iraq descended into chaos, other countries in the Middle East would have come to the aid of their favored factions, and the entire region might have erupted in war."

The guys delusional abilities are quite impressive, I must admit!!

I mean, HOW DOES HE KNOW this when he was SO WRONG BEFORE?

Oh, and by the way, the sheiks are being killed!!!!

At the same time, McCain sought to distance himself from the unpopular Bush administration, saying he thought that President Bush had pursued a "mistaken strategy" and that Bush's military commanders gave "phony explanations about how we were winning. I knew we were failing."

Yeah, what a FUCKING ALBATROSS that has to be around that wrinkled ould neck!!!!

--MORE--"

Yeah, I can't register my disappointment in the DL enough!

And how come the Dalai Lama always get so much Zionist-controlled MSM coverage when Desmond Tutu gets none?
