REDDING, Calif. (AP) — Federal forestry officials say a firefighter has died after being struck by a falling tree while battling a wildfire in Northern California. Andrew Jackson Palmer, 18, was injured Friday near Junction City, about 50 miles west of Redding, a U.S. Forest Service spokesman said He died while being flown to a hospital in Redding. Palmer was a based at Olympic National Park in Port Angeles, Wash."
