How come my total keeps coming up with a minus sign in front of it?
"Social Security website has new retirement calculator
The Social Security Administration unveiled a new retirement estimator on its website. A few clicks and some personal information produce benefit estimates in a few minutes.
With the government having a hard time hanging on to that info, and with all the identity thefts, you think that's a good idea?
All for a FUTURE ESTIMATE?
The agency will have an updated online application for benefits that Social Security administrator Michael Astrue promises will cut application time from 45 minutes to 15 minutes - and the need for follow-up visits to field offices. Currently, workers get an annual benefit estimate in the mail. It's based on prior earnings but assumes people's salary stays the same until retirement age.
So it is an INNACCURATE PIECE of SHIT to start with, huh?
Yup, it is a GOVERNMENT PROJECT ALL RIGHT!
The online calculator supplements the mailing but won't replace it (AP)."
Then WTF?! Taxpayers STILL have to PAY for the MAILING?!
And WHO PAYED for the COMPUTER TABULATOR, huh?
Not that I will ever see any of the money I kicked in; that is all going to be LONG GONE before I retire.
And even if it technically wasn't gone, both you and I know, readers, that the government will STEAL IT first!
All that's in the "trust fund" is GOVERNMENT IOU's, so they have STOLEN IT ALREADY!!!
I'm a Ron Paul convert on this one, folks, and that is hard for a former Massachusetts' lefty to admit!
I ate up the government propaganda, too!
