Population Rallies Behind Accused War Criminal

I'll tell you one thing: I won't be rushing to Bush's or Cheney's defense, you can bet on that!

"Rally backs leader as charges loom

KHARTOUM - Hundreds of supporters rallied on behalf of President Omar al-Bashir, who is expected to be indicted today in connection with crimes against humanity and genocide. A prosecutor at the International Criminal Court is expected to seek an arrest warrant charging Bashir with orchestrating violence in Darfur that has left hundreds of thousands of people dead since 2003. As Bashir huddled with advisers yesterday, hundreds of Sudanese, many carrying pro- government banners, demonstrated their support for him (AP July 14, 2008)."

Ever notice the only guys who get charged are small country leaders who are charged, and never major mass-murderers like Bush and Bliar?
