Governor Deval Patrick is chuckling at a report he could be a Supreme Court justice in a Barack Obama administration. The state's first black governor said he loves his current job and "intends" to run for reelection in 2010. He is also campaigning for Obama, a fellow Chicagoan and Harvard Law School graduate trying to become the first black president. Patrick told reporters yesterday that the Supreme Court talk is "speculation turning into a news story." He also noted he intends to stay as governor for another term and press his agenda forward (Boston Globe July 22, 2008)."
