Israel Signals Intention to Seize West Bank

One other thing I've also noticed is how ISRAEL'S APARTHEID WALL is practically nonexistent if you read the Zionist AmeriKan War Dailies.

Just further proves my points!

"Maskiot is... on the opposite side of the West Bank, near Jordan’s border."

"Israel Moves Toward Building More Settler Homes" by ISABEL KERSHNER

JERUSALEM — An Israeli defense committee has approved the construction of 22 homes in a barely populated West Bank settlement, Defense Ministry officials said Thursday.

Previous plans to build at the settlement, Maskiot, in the Jordan Valley, were frozen in January 2007 by Amir Peretz, then the defense minister, after American officials voiced displeasure. He said he had approved the settlement plan to fulfill his predecessor’s promise to build at the site to resettle some Israelis forced to leave the Gaza Strip in 2005.

Translation: The Americans can fuck off.

The new housing is intended for families of a former Gaza settlement, Shirat Hayam. To persuade them to leave Gaza peacefully, the army promised to keep them together. At least eight of the families are already living at Maskiot in trailers.

Not FEMA's formaldehyde trailers?

Many regard Maskiot as a new settlement, the first to be established in the West Bank in more than a decade, making the decision to build permanent housing there all the more contentious.

Much of the world considers Israel’s settlements in Palestinian territory a violation of international law. Israel says the West Bank is disputed, its fate to be decided in negotiations for an independent state for the Palestinians. It hopes to be able to keep a few major settlement blocs.

This is such Zionist garbage!

Negotiations, deals, balh, blah, while they steal land and murder every day!

The Palestinians have said they are ready for minor land swaps along the 1967 boundary separating Israel and the West Bank. But Maskiot is far from that boundary, on the opposite side of the West Bank, near Jordan’s border.

There was no immediate comment from American diplomats in the region.

Of course not; why would there be?

And how come you (and the rest of AmeriKa's Zionist-controlled MSM newspapers) are not reporting this?

"Palestinian legislators criticize Israeli abduction of female legislator

After Israeli forces abducted Palestinian legislator Mona Mansour, along with thirty other people in Nablus Monday, a number of prominent Palestinian legislators have condemned the abduction and called for Mansour's release.

The abductions by Israeli forces occur on a daily basis, but usually do not include such prominent figures as those taken Monday. But this is not the first time Israeli forces have abducted elected figures in the Palestinian government. After the Hamas party was democratically elected in 2006, Israeli forces went on a raid of Palestinian legislators' homes, abducting dozens of them. Many of those legislators are still being held today, including the seriously ill Dr. Aziz Dweik.

Khaleda Jarrar, a legislator with the Palestinian Front for the Liberation of Palestine, or PFLP, said that the abduction of Mansour shows the 'fascist' nature of the Israeli occupation forces, which engage in what she called 'rabid' campaigns of abductions in the West Bank, particularly in Nablus. She called for an end to the security coordination being carried out by the Fateh party with the israeli occupying forces.

Mansour's office also released a statement calling on the international community to intervene to end the 'Israeli farce' and free the Palestinian legislators that are being imprisoned by Israel, with their only crime being that they represent a party with whom Israel disagrees.

You get kind of tired of the Zionist papers ignoring Israel's massive war crimes, although this issue in particular shows the true nature and bias of AmeriKa's MSM servile agenda-pushing and FOR WHOM!
