Story Iraq: Iraq Feast

As opposed to turkey, Iraqis feast upon the mass graves Bush has brought them.

Whatever happened to all of Saddam's mass graves, anyway?

Never got around to it, did we? Isn't that why we "liberated" the place?

Because of that monster's crimes?

"Suicide bombing kills 6, hurts 22 in Iraq; American soldier, interpreter die in separate blast" by Robert H. Reid/Associated Press November 22, 2007

BAGHDAD - A suicide car bomber hit a police checkpoint outside the courthouse in Ramadi yesterday, killing up to six people and wounding as many as 22.

The Ramadi suicide bomber struck midmorning, killing three policemen and three civilians and wounding 13, according to Colonel Jubair Rashid Naief, a provincial police official. The US military said four people died, including the bomber, and 22 were hurt.

Other scattered attacks were reported yesterday in the country. The deadliest occurred when gunmen attacked a police patrol in downtown Muqdadiyah, about 60 miles north of Baghdad, police said. Four gunmen were killed, police said."

But the scattered violence doesn't merit a mention other than this?

"Remains of 40 Found in Mass Grave" by DAMIEN CAVE

BAGHDAD, Nov. 21 — The Iraqi police on Wednesday discovered a mass grave near Ramadi with at least 40 bodies, some of them children, and a suicide car bomb exploded inside the city near a courthouse, killing at least six people and wounding eight.

Tariq al-Dulaimai, a police commander in Ramadi, the capital of Anbar Province, said the grave was found in Muwaili. Lt. Gen. James M. Dubik, who oversees the American training of the Iraqi police, said Wednesday that the violence underscored the frailty of Iraq’s relative calm.

“While the security situation is much better now than in previous months, the enemies of security in Iraq still have the capacity and desire for ruthless attacks,” he said at a news conference in Baghdad. “The war is not over.”

Yeah, we know! It is never going to end!

Anbar Province officials said the car that exploded passed through several checkpoints before detonating in a public lot near the main courthouse. The mass grave was just the latest of several to be found around Iraq.

Iraqi security officials have said that more bodies are being discovered because more patrols are able to move around areas that had been under the control of Al Qaeda in Mesopotamia, and they have publicized the graves as a sign of the group’s barbarism. But the graves also suggest that the statistics indicating a recent decline in civilian deaths may have been overstated.

And CUI BONO, readers?

They mean THIS "Al-CIA-Duh," right?

"Al-CIA-Duhs" Catch-and-Release Program

Across Baghdad, the authorities found eight bodies on Wednesday, five of them in Saydia, a mixed area that has descended into violence even as others have become safer. In Baquba, in Diyala Provinc

British military officials also announced that two British soldiers died Tuesday in a helicopter crash near Salman Pak, just outside of Baghdad. They did not divulge the cause."
