The Pakistan Page

Times devotes a whole page to the shit.

I'm tired of covering this, since it's all bullshit political theater.

And the violence and wars Mushy is losing up nawth and out west?

Nothing about them in my Zionist-controlled War Dailies.

You know that, those of you who have been reading me.

"Pakistan places Bhutto under house arrest; Government contends move is for her safety" by Emily Wax/Washington Post November 13, 2007

Former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto had planned to lead the procession later today from Lahore to Islamabad, the capital, more than 200 miles to the west by road. But the government said it had intelligence suggesting that a suicide bombing targeting Bhutto had been planned, and that her detention, in a party activist's home in Lahore, was for her own safety.

Yeah, I'll bet they did, since they are the ones doing it!

CUI BONO
, huh, readers?

Police erected barricades around the house where she was staying, and snipers were on neighborhood rooftops."

"Pakistani Officials Order Detention of Bhutto and Block a March" by DAVID ROHDE and JANE PERLEZ

LAHORE, Pakistan, Tuesday, Nov. 13 — Pakistani authorities issued a seven-day detention order against the opposition leader Benazir Bhutto on Monday, in a bid to stop her from leading a planned protest march this week.

Ms. Bhutto will prevented from leaving the home where she is staying in Lahore if she tries to lead protesters, said a government spokesman, Tariq Azim Khan, citing intelligence data, suggested that she could be a target for militants. She survived a suicide-bombing attack last month in Karachi when she returned to Pakistan, after eight years.

And CUI BONO, readers?

The government has used that attack as public justification for stopping her protests.

CUI BONO, readers?

Liaqat Baloch, the secretary general of Pakistan’s most popular Islamic party, Jamaat-e-Islami, said the party was considering withholding its candidates if the emergency was still in place in January.

WTF these guys participating in elections for?

I was told by my lying Zionist press that they just wanted Sharia Law!

WTF? Press been lying to me again, huh?

Despite Ms. Bhutto’s tougher comments on Monday, analysts said they believed she had not completely moved away from her original plan, devised with the backing of the Bush administration, to seek a power-sharing deal with General Musharraf.

Why I don't like writing about all this coverage. All BULLSHIT THEATRICS!

Other opposition groups have accused her of mounting only token protests while negotiating a power sharing agreement with Pakistan’s president, Gen. Pervez Musharraf, at the urging of the United States."

And yet the Times has the gall to publish this story next door:

"U.S. to Send Special Envoy to Confront Musharraf" by HELENE COOPER

WASHINGTON, Nov. 12 — Further complicating the issue for the Bush administration so far has been the continuing political tug of war between General Musharraf and the opposition leader Benazir Bhutto: Ms. Bhutto keeps announcing rallies to oppose the general’s emergency rule, and he keeps putting her under house arrest for what he says is her own safety.

Fooleys, FOOLEYS, good old Amurkn MSM FOOLEYS!

She is CUTTING a DEAL with him!

The Pakistani authorities issued a seven-day detention order against Ms. Bhutto on Monday in a bid to stop her from leading another planned protest march this week from the eastern city of Lahore to the capital, Islamabad.

General Musharraf’s deputies said they had received intelligence suggesting that Ms. Bhutto could be a target for militants. While American officials say they, too, have been worried about Ms. Bhutto’s safety, one official said the detention order fits neatly with the general’s emergency powers decree.

The official said, alluding to the suicide attack on Ms. Bhutto’s convoy after her arrival in Karachi last month:

He wasn’t exactly running to put her under house arrest when she first arrived.”

And CUI BONO, readers?

Of course, Bhutto just called for Mushy's resignation, which means he will be gone soon.

Detained in Home, Bhutto Calls for President to Resign

If not, the Times wouldn't have run this story on the page:

Lawyer’s Long Fight for Democracy Puts Him in Familiar Place: Jail

What I liked about the piece was the reference to the U.S.' CREATION of "Al-CIA-Duh."

"For Mr. Ahsan’s family in particular, there are eerie and disturbing parallels between the days when the United States armed General Zia with billions of dollars to fight a proxy war against the Soviets in Afghanistan and today, when the Bush administration has bankrolled General Musharraf with an estimated $10 billion to fight terrorism."

Here's a bloggers take on it all:

Would Benazir Bhutto Fly the False-Flags So Readily?

"If the moderate sector is silenced, it could encourage the rest of Pakistan to focus on the perceived options left to them, the Islamic extremists or the military dictator. That leaves the Musharraf camp as the ready-made savior without an alternative, doesn't it? How well, after all, would the moderates do keeping up the fake War on Terror anyway?"
