I think I read on CNN last night that someone might have even thrown the bomb in the back of the guys truck!

Now who would want to do that?

"Bomb found near nuclear plant" by Associated Press November 3, 2007

WINTERSBURG, Ariz. - Security officials at the nation's largest nuclear power plant detained a contract worker with a small pipe bomb in the back of his pickup yesterday, and investigators were searching his apartment, authorities said. Authorities said it didn't appear to be an act of terrorism.

But it keeps the thought of "nuke" and "terrorist" in the shit-chomping public mind!

Mission success!

The worker was stopped and detained at the entrance of Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, about half a mile from the containment domes where the plant's nuclear material is stored, said Jim McDonald, plant spokesman. Security officials then put the nuclear station on lockdown. The lockdown was lifted a few hours later.

Authorities described the device as a 6-inch, capped explosive made of galvanized pipe and containing suspicious residue. Tom Mangan of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said it probably was homemade.

The worker, a procurement engineer, had access to some protected areas of the plant, but not the reactor, McDonald said."

CNN said the guy needed the explosives for his work, and that no damage could have been done, too!

WTF? MSM want this story to go away because it is ridiculous, or has the purpose already been fulfilled?

Nukes, terrorists, nukes, terrorists.
