That's how the crime syndicate that protects Bush -- a.k.a. the AmeriKan MSM -- spins the story in the shitty little fart mist it gives today:
"Ex-White House press aides taking pen in hand earlier; Big book bonuses outweigh custom" by Matt Apuzzo/Associated Press November 24, 2007
WASHINGTON - White House press secretaries, who speak for the president and appear before the nation on his behalf, have traditionally kept their secrets while their bosses are in office.
That unwritten rule has faded in the face of big advances for political tell-all books.
Former colleagues were surprised last week by a three-paragraph teaser released by the publisher of an upcoming book by Scott McClellan, who served as White House press secretary for nearly three years of the Bush administration. The excerpt seemed to blame President Bush for McClellan's false statements during the early days of the CIA leak scandal."
Then they drop the CIA-leak story and take a trip down memory lane.
So the impression now is that McClellan was trying to make dough, huh?
Why would he step out of line and put his life at risk?
Already saw he and publisher back-pedaling!
How much you wanna bet that quote won't be in the book?
What GARBAGE the AmeriKan MSM press has become -- even over the last year!
Way BAD!!!! STINK!
