"Ahead of summit, Hamas warns Israel; Threatens to launch attacks" by Sarah El Deeb/Associated Press November 25, 2007
GAZA CITY - Hamas said yesterday that it was shocked that Arab countries have decided to attend this week's US-backed Mideast peace summit and underlined its opposition with a threat to launch deadlier rocket attacks on Israel.
Hamas maintains the time is not right for talks with Israel because the Palestinians are divided. With the militant group in control of Gaza, Hamas says moderate Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas does not have a mandate to negotiate.
Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri:
"The announcement of the Arabs that they would participate in the Annapolis conference was a great shock for the Palestinian people. Participation opens doors for normalization of relations with the Israeli occupiers."
Another Hamas official said the group was on the brink of developing a more lethal type of warhead for the rockets it regularly lobs from Gaza into Israel.
Ahmed Yousef, an adviser to Ismail Haniyeh, the Hamas prime minister in Gaza:
"They can be developed in a short period to create sufficient terror and fear and make the Israelis live in pain no less than what our people live through because of the repeated incursions into our villages and cities in the West Bank and Gaza."
Israel, which welcomed the Arab League decision Friday to go to the Mideast conference in Annapolis, Md., has repeatedly said it expects Hamas to try and thwart peace efforts.
Israel has launched limited incursions into Gaza in recent months to try to halt rocket fire. It has also cut back on fuel to Gaza and it plans to reduce electricity supplies to the territory starting Dec. 2. Late Friday night, Israeli troops fatally shot two Palestinian men who approached the border fence separating Gaza from Israel, Palestinian medical staff said.
So on the eve of the "conference," Israel kills to Palestinians!!!
HOW OUTRAGEOUS!!!
And these stinkfuck NaZionists are warning that Hamas will try and thwart peace?
Pffffttttt!
Residents said the men often scoured the area for cement and other building materials to sell. An army statement said the two men appeared suspicious and were shot as they moved in darkness toward troops at the border fence, which is in an area off limits to Palestinians.
MURDERED, in other words!
Palestinians enter the danger zone to scavenge for building materials or sneak into Israel to work.
If they can get past Israel's shoot-to-kill policy!
In the Abbas-controlled West Bank, security forces prevented two Hamas officials from holding a news conference yesterday in Ramallah, cordoning off the building where they had planned to speak about Monday's peace conference.
Journalists were ordered not to photograph or film the officials, who were led away by police.
That's friendly Fatah the fascists, huh?
Israel, United States, Fatah, they are all fascists!
No wonder they like each other so much!
Hamas members in Gaza said the two men were released after two hours. Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad Malki said the police action was necessary because recent Hamas threats have run contrary to the Abbas administration's efforts to impose law and order. In Gaza, about 200 people gathered outside the seafront Parliament building, calling on Abbas not to make any concessions to Israel at the Annapolis conference.
Uthman Abdullah, a 15-year-old and one of the speakers:
"We tell those going to Annapolis, we will not forgive you, and we will not forget if you give up any of our rights."
Yeah, they know what you are, Abass!
In Jerusalem, about 500 Israelis rallied outside Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's official residence, calling on him to make every effort to make peace with the Palestinians."
Those are SUCH GOOD ISRAELI JEWS!!
Obviously, the Zionist War Daily doesn't give them the coverage they deserve!
Last sentence in the last paragraph indeed!
"Hope for Leaders’ Cooperation, but Little for Results" by STEVEN ERLANGER
Israeli and Palestinian leaders gather tomorrow under American tutelage, with Arab foreign ministers in attendance amid anxiety about Iran, to try again to negotiate an end to nearly 60 years of conflict.
Sigh! Oooooh!
Yup, everybody gotta be taught by the Zionist-serving AmeriKans!
And I thought the issue at the conference was going to be Palestine, not Iran, stink NYT!
Man, does that paper ever suck now!
What a SHITRAG piece of PROPAGANDA the NYT is now!!!!!!!
The Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas, and the Israeli prime minister, Ehud Olmert, respect each other. They have the potential to negotiate and sign the most far-reaching agreement ever between Israelis and Palestinians. But even if they do, can they carry it out?
Un-fucking-real! They can't even agree on it being a document or a statement, and yet it could be the GREATEST THING EVER?!?
Are you raising expectations because Bush told you to?
What do you know about the conference that your aren't telling us, Times?
If Israel is serious about peace, it has a major internal conflict coming with the settler movement, with those who do not wish to risk the security of Israel by withdrawing from the West Bank and from those who believe that Jerusalem must never again be divided.
Well, that shouldn't be a problem since Israel is never serious about peace!
A weak Mr. Olmert, under criminal investigation and political pressure, has been reluctant to take on the settlers, offend his religious coalition partners or challenge the security establishment.
And he won't be taking on his fellow NaZionists now!
Not when Jews are absolved from agreements by the Kol Nidre!
"When, on the Day of Atonement, you walk into a synagogue, the very first prayer that you recite, you stand -- and it's the only prayer for which you stand -- and you repeat three times a short prayer. The Kol Nidre. In that prayer, you enter into an agreement with God Almighty that any oath, vow, or pledge that you may make during the next twelve months -- any oath, vow or pledge that you may take during the next twelve months shall be null and void.
The oath shall not be an oath; the vow shall not be a vow; the pledge shall not be a pledge. They shall have no force and effect, and so forth and so on.
And further than that, the Talmud teaches: "Don't forget -- whenever you take an oath, vow, and pledge -- remember the Kol Nidre prayer that you recited on the Day of Atonement, and that exempts you from fulfilling that."
That explains a lot, doesn't it, readers?
There is a deep sense, among Palestinians and not just Israelis, that Mr. Abbas, although he was elected essentially unopposed, is a virtual president in charge of little, and that if the Israeli military pulled out of the West Bank, he would not last more than a day.
Aaron David Miller, a former American negotiator:
“If you don’t control the guns and a monopoly on force, people don’t respect you. Will an Israeli prime minister make existential concessions to a man who doesn’t control the guns?”
While there are elements in Hamas that favor negotiation with Israel and a long-term “hudna” or truce with Israel within 1967 boundaries — and then letting the next generation decide how to resolve the conflict — they are a minority and have been largely silenced since Hamas conquered Gaza. Hamas’s formal position is that Annapolis is a waste of time and that Mr. Abbas must not make serious concessions to Israel.
And even if they weren't, do you think the stink NaZionist press would tell us?
Robert Malley, another former negotiator for the United States, said so long as Hamas controls Gaza, it also controls the timetable for peace:
“All this is a fantasy unless internal Palestinian divisions are healed.”
And CUI BONO form the divisions, huh?
I guess that's why USrael is funding and arming Fatah, huh?
And the longer this conflict has gone on — nearly 60 years now, with the Israeli occupation 40 years old — everything becomes more bitter, more entrenched.
I'm surprised they even referred to Israel's crimes as occupation!
Take these two examples.
As Hamas builds an army in Gaza — contradicting the diplomatic consensus that a new Palestinian state should have a police force but no army — the temptation for Israel to invade Gaza will be severe. But the damage of such an attack to Mr. Abbas, who may be seen as riding an Israeli tank back to power in Gaza, could be fatal — threatening not just his negotiating authority, but his life.
Yeah, they can't get food and fuel through the borders, but they are building an army.
I'm fucking sick of stink Zionist lies!!!!!!!
But they are giving you a foreshadowing of the future, readers!
Secondly, settlements. Forget for a moment the enormous task of pulling out the 65,000 Israelis who live beyond the separation barrier in the West Bank, or a significant number of the 209,000 who live in occupied territory inside the barrier, or the 190,000 more who live in East Jerusalem.
The road map calls for a freeze on all settlement activity, including natural growth, and the removal of some 24 outposts set up illegally after March 2001. Mr. Olmert and Defense Minister Ehud Barak have been negotiating with the settlers to remove the outposts in return for legalizing others; they also want to move some settlers to the big “settlement blocs” that Israel intends to keep. Even Palestinian negotiators, according to senior American officials, privately admit Israel will keep some of those settlement blocs.
In other words, ISRAEL DON'T HONOR ANY AGREEMENT -- EVER!!!!!!!!!!!
Never hear a WORD of PROTEST ABOUT IT, either, in AmeriKa's fucking STINK PRESS!!!!!!!
But the Palestinians define a settlement freeze strictly. According to papers prepared by the Palestinian negotiating team, the Palestinians say the road map forbids moving people from one settlement to another before any final status agreement. They also say a freeze means a halt to all new construction, including expanding existing buildings or building new bypass roads for settlers, and a halt to all forms of Israeli assistance to the settlers, including financial incentives, land allocations, building permits and the like — even in the settlement blocs Israel intends to keep.
Israeli officials say that, for Annapolis, Mr. Olmert is prepared to announce a general freeze on settlement construction. But how detailed will it be?
Olmert preparing to tell more bullshit Zionist lies, huh?
Two years ago, the Israeli government, as Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will remember, was also prepared, in order to please her, to sign her agreement on Gaza movement and access, including allowing “safe passage” for bus convoys between Gaza and the West Bank. Even before Hamas won elections and then took over Gaza, Palestinian rocket fire and Israeli defense concerns killed that agreement, despite previous American efforts to reform Palestinian security forces. And Israeli officials made it clear that they had never intended to start the bus convoys, which they considered an unwarranted risk, in any case.
So the Israelis SHAT ALL OVER CONDI!!!!
And they are getting ready to DO IT AGAIN!
But that's all right!
The War Princess likes being shat on by her Zionist masters.
She'll drink Zionist diarrhea, she loves it so much!
