And I'm one of them every night.
"Some 35.5m in US went hungry in '06"
More than 35.5 million Americans went hungry in 2006 as they struggled to find jobs that can support them, a figure that was virtually unchanged from the previous year, the Agriculture Department said yesterday (AP)."
Yup, we got TRILLIONS for WARS, but you can go to bed hungry tonight, Amurkn!
Whassa matter, bowl of shit didn't fill you up?
Well, help is on the way:
"Bush, Confident on Economy, Vetoes Domestic Spending Bill" by EDMUND L. ANDREWS and ROBERT PEAR
WASHINGTON, Nov. 13 — Even in the darkest times, President Bush has been able to draw hope from the almost uncanny ability of the American economy to endure shock after shock with surprisingly limited damage.
Mr. Bush expressed the same optimism on Tuesday, praising the economy as resilient and reminding people that it bounced back after the Sept. 11 attacks and Hurricane Katrina.
Mr. Bush told business and civic leaders in New Albany, Ind."
“This economy is flexible, it is dynamic and it is competitive enough to overcome any challenge we face.”
The man is either a bullshit liar, or fucking insane!
As if to underline his confidence in the economy’s self-sufficiency, Mr. Bush on Tuesday vetoed a bill for $150.7 billion, nearly $10 billion more than he wanted, for education, health care, job training and other domestic programs.
Some economists worry that the economy’s stamina may have hit its limit. Mr. Bush faces a fearsome trifecta of shocks, each of which is daunting: soaring oil prices, a meltdown in housing and mortgage lending and plunging consumer confidence.
Nigel Gault, senior economist at Global Insight, a forecasting firm in Lexington, Mass.:
“We are getting increasingly worried that the resilience is coming to an end. We see a double shock in housing and in the credit crunch. The other shock, potentially, is oil.”
Mr. Bush’s problem is that the economy essentially depends on factors beyond his control. There is little that the government can do to bring down oil prices in the short term or to prop up consumer confidence.
What shit. The fucking Globalists are running this thing.
I am so sick of the NYT and their shit lies!!!!!!!
Bush, in an interview Tuesday with the Fox Business Network:
“I tell them that if you’re interested in raising taxes, you can find any excuse to do so. But I also tell them that raising taxes would be bad for the economy. We don’t need to be taking money out of the pockets of investors and savers and consumers.”
Right, we need to be throwing it into the pockets of your war machine buddies, right, you FUCKING ASSHOLE!!!!!!!!
American companies continue hiring, and consumers continue spending. Stock prices jumped on Tuesday, in part because Wal-Mart, the largest retailer, reported a bigger increase in earnings than investors had expected.
What a crockload of continuous lies these Zionist shit-spewers fucking fart!
But consumer confidence has plunged to a two-year low, according to independent surveys, a bad omen for what has been the economy’s most unshakable pillar.
Even if Mr. Bush had more levers at his disposal, he and his top economic advisers harbor a strong suspicion about “big government” solutions to economic problems.
Unless it is to feed the fucking war machine. Then they can steal TRILLIONS!
I am SO SICK OF THIS FUCKING GOD-DAMNED LIAR!!!!!!!!!
Defending his veto, Mr. Bush said the “bloated labor and health spending bill” included more than 2,200 items designating money for lawmakers’ pet projects. He said Congress should “cut out that pork, reduce the spending and send me a responsible measure that I can sign into law."
How about ENDING YOUR FUCKING WARS, asshole!!!!
That would save a lot of money right there!
"Pointed Question Puts McCain in a Tight Spot" by MARC SANTORA
Just before leaving the White House on Tuesday, Mr. Bush signed the Defense Department appropriations bill, which provides $459 billion for military programs in the fiscal year that began Oct. 1.
Representative David R. Obey, Democrat of Wisconsin and chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, denounced Mr. Bush for rejecting the health and education bill, which embodies the values and priorities of the Democrats who control Congress.
Mr. Obey: “The same president who is asking us to spend another $200 billion on the misguided war in Iraq and is insisting on providing $60 billion in tax cuts next year to folks who make over a million bucks a year is now refusing to provide a $6 billion increase to crucial domestic investments in education, health care, medical research and worker protections.”
Then why do you assholes keep giving him everything he wants?
Obey is just another AIPAC-sponsored flak.
Remember him yelling at the antiwar mom?
So FUCK OFF, limp dick Dave!!!!!!!!!
The theme of the president’s day, set forth in the backdrop on stage in Indiana, was “holding the line on taxes.”
Fuck that, I need food, shitter!
Bush, in his remarks in Indiana:
“This year alone, the leadership in Congress has proposed to spend $22 billion more than my budget provides. Now some of them claim that’s not really much of a difference, and the scary part is they seem to mean it. Over five years, their proposed spending spree adds up to an extra $205 billion. Put another way, that’s about $1,300 in higher spending every second of every minute of every hour of every day of every year for the next five years.”
And HOW MANY TRILLIONS HAVE YOUR LYING SHIT WARS COST US, asshole!!!!!!!!!
What a fucking shitting asshole!!!!!!!!
FUCK OFF, ASSHOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!
