Iran calls for US nuclear apology
"Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said the US and its allies should apologise for their treatment of Iran over its nuclear programme.
Mr Ahmadinejad said the latest report by the UN's International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) showed Iran had been truthful about its nuclear activities.
Mr Ahmadinejad said the time had come for the US and its allies to change their behaviour, referring to two earlier rounds of UN sanctions:
"Upon wrong and incorrect information you issued two resolutions. Now that you have found out that this information was wrong, you have to be brave and come forward and tell the Iranian nation 'We made a mistake' and apologise."
That'll be the day, huh, readers, when the U.S. apologizes to anyone!

We can only apologize so much for our President being a blithering idiot. However, if it will make you feel any better, rest assured that most of us don't listen to him anyway. On behalf of the American people, Mr. Amadinejad, let me apologize not only for the current treatment, but for Operation Ajax and the overthrowing of Iranian democracy in 1953.
I also apologize for the U.S. siccing Saddam Hussein on you in 1980.
And shootings down of an Iranian airliner in 1988.
And for siccing the M.E.K. and P.J.A.K. on you from Iraq (and who knows what else).
To the people of Iran, I apologize for the mistreatment my asshole government thrusts upon you, and will rail against this asshole in an attempt to forestall an attack on your country.
If the American people fail the prevent these deranged assholes from doing that, please whip our ass on the battlefield so you can come and arrest the WAR CRIMINALS Bush and Cheney!
