"Devastating Report Documents Israeli Crimes Against Civilians in Gaza: Where's the Outrage?

The Goldstone report has been denounced in Israeli and ignored by the U.S. press, unless you count the NY Daily News, which called it a "blood libel against Israel."

The recently released UN Human Rights Council fact-finding mission on the December-January Gaza conflict, released on the eve of Barack Obama's attempt to jump-start comprehensive Israeli-Palestinian negotiations, was but the latest in a series of investigations, most of them by human rights organizations like Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International.

Like its predecessors, the so-called Goldstone report, named after chief investigator Richard Goldstone, is devastating in its critique of Israeli actions: indiscriminate use of firepower; deliberate attacks on civilians and civilian structures, including hospitals, schools, mosques, water and sewage plants, and rescue vehicles; use of white phosphorus munitions in built-up areas; use of human shields; abusive treatment of detainees; imposition of a blockade on Gaza before and after the attack itself--the report concludes that Israel violated international humanitarian law, committed "grave breaches of the Fourth Geneva Convention in respect of wilful killings and wilfully causing great suffering to protected persons," and war crimes, possibly even crimes against humanity. The courageous Israeli journalist Gideon Levy summed it up well in Haaretz: it was "an unrestrained assault on a besieged, totally unprotected civilian population which showed almost no signs of resistance during this operation."

Perhaps most damning of all was the testimony of some thirty Israeli veterans of the operation gathered by the organization Breaking the Silence, published in a booklet in July and cited by the Goldstone report. According to the booklet's introduction, "The majority of the soldiers who spoke with us are still serving in their regular military units and turned to us in deep distress at the moral deterioration of the IDF.… The stories of this publication prove that we are not dealing with the failures of individual soldiers, and attest instead to failures in the application of values primarily on a systemic level." The testimony is chilling: "Fire power was insane"; "if you see any signs of movement at all, you shoot. These, essentially, were the rules of engagement. Shoot if you like"; "Houses were demolished everywhere.… We didn't see a single house that was not hit"; "whole neighborhoods were simply razed because four houses in the area served to launch Qassam rockets"; "You know what? You feel like a child playing around with a magnifying glass, burning up ants. Really. A 20-year-old kid should not be doing such things to people."

Predictably, the Goldstone report was met by a wave of angry denunciations from the Israeli government -- which had refused to cooperate with the investigators -- and most of the Israeli media. The mainstream media here have downplayed the investigation's significance; news coverage has been sparse, and not one major U.S. daily has seen fit to editorialize on it (unless you count a nasty little screed from the New York Daily News calling the report a "blood libel against Israel"). And U.S. pundits and politicians -- including UN ambassador Susan Rice, who called it "unbalanced, one-sided and basically unacceptable" -- have been overwhelmingly critical.

But it's not so easy to dismiss these findings. For one thing, the nearly 600-page report is carefully documented and comprehensive, and is based on field visits, public hearings, almost 200 individual interviews, photos, videos, satellite imagery and a review of more than 300 other reports. For another, its head, Goldstone, is one of the most respected and experienced international jurists, having served as a justice on South Africa's Constitutional Court and chief UN prosecutor for the International Criminal Tribunals for the former Yugoslavia and Rwanda.

And then there are Goldstone's personal connections: he's Jewish and, according to his daughter, herself an ardent Zionist who lived in Israel for six months, he's "a Zionist and loves Israel." Indeed, she said of her father, who serves on the Board of Governors of Hebrew University, "I know that if he thought what he did would not somehow be for the sake of peace for everyone in Israel or that it would have hindered such efforts, he would not have accepted the job."

Before taking it on, Goldstone insisted on expanding the mission's mandate so that it cover Palestinian acts; far from being one-sided, the report concluded that Hamas rocket and mortar barrages on southern Israel were "indiscriminate attacks upon the civilian population," acts that "would constitute war crimes and may amount to crimes against humanity." International law expert (and Nation editorial board member) Richard Falk has concluded that "no credible international commission could reach any set of conclusions other than those reached by the Goldstone Report on the central allegations."

Falk points out that there are good reasons for Israel's panicked reaction. In addition to the report's balance and the credibility of its chief, Goldstone recommends that Israel and Hamas carry out serious, comprehensive investigations of their own into the alleged crimes, and that if they do not do so within six months, the UN Security Council should consider referring the matter to the International Criminal Court in The Hague. That's highly unlikely, given US veto power in the Security Council. But the report will further diminish Israel's reputation and will probably strengthen the growing international boycott, divestment and sanctions movement. In his column on the report, Gideon Levy darkly concludes, "On the eve of the Jewish New Year, Israel, deservedly, is becoming an outcast and detested country. We must not forget it for a minute."

Timing is everything.

On Monday, the United States assumed its seat on the United Nations Human Rights Council -- the one the Bush administration had cold-shouldered, then boycotted. The U.S. representative declared in Obamaesque tones, "Make no mistake: The United States will not look the other way in the face of serious human rights abuses."

And on Tuesday, Justice Richard Goldstone and his team submitted the report of their fact-finding mission into violations of international human rights and humanitarian law during Israel's December-January offensive against Gaza -- a report requested by the Council itself.

The Goldstone Report could derail the Obama administration's hopes of a two-state solution. Unless, that is, someone can sink it. An unlikely set of allies may come together to do so: Israel, given the findings against it of war crimes and possible crimes against humanity; the United States, to defend Israel as well as its own plans for the Middle East; Egypt; and the Palestinian Authority.

It would be quite hard to sink the Goldstone Report. One reason is the team's impeccable credentials.Goldstone,a South African Jew with close ties to Israel, served as Prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunals for the former Yugoslavia and Rwanda. Another member, Hina Jilani, participated in the commission of inquiry on Darfur. Israel and its supporters always complain that no one looks at other countries' abuses. Well, this team has.

Moreover, the Goldstone Report is painstakingly even-handed. It finds evidence of war crimes and possibly crimes against humanity not just against Israel but also against Palestinian armed groups. And it criticizes both Hamas and the Palestinian Authority for human rights violations in their crackdowns on each other's members.

In addition, the Goldstone team provides almost no room for anyone to wriggle out of its recommendations. It requests the Human Rights Council to submit its report to the Security Council, where the United States has a veto, as well as to the U.N. General Assembly, where it does not.

It calls on Israel as well as the authorities in Gaza to launch independent and credible investigations into the violations. And to make sure they do, it asks that an independent team of experts be established to review progress. If the process is not credible -- as measured against international law standards -- then the Gaza situation should be referred to the International Criminal Court at the end of six months. It also upholds universal jurisdiction, calling on other states to undertake criminal investigations in their national courts so as to prevent impunity.

The Report politely expresses doubt that Israel will make reparations to the Palestinians of Gaza for the extensive damage inflicted on them and their infrastructure -- so it recommends that the General Assembly establish an escrow account into which Israel would pay.

The Obama administration could send a strong signal by voting to submit the report to the Security Council and the General Assembly, or even by abstaining. But, despite its fine words on Monday, it is more likely to want to bury it. Otherwise, attention will focus on prosecuting an Israel it's trying to nudge to the negotiating table. The problem it will face is that Third World countries dominate both the Human Rights Council and General Assembly and they traditionally support Palestinian rights. So it will seek an alliance with Egypt and the Palestinian Authority. If they indicate they do not want the report to go forward, the rest of the Third World would find it hard to go over their heads.

But could Egypt and the Palestinian Authority possibly want to stop accountability for war crimes in Gaza? Hard to believe, but they may have already done so earlier this year when Father Miguel d'Escoto Brockmann, the General Assembly's Nicaraguan president, tried to get the international community to stop the slaughter.

Father Miguel has named no names, but in his speech at the end of his one-year term this week, he left little doubt about what happened. He said he had tried to persuade "those who should have been most closely involved" to convene the General Assembly to help the Palestinians under fire. But "all I received was advice to give the process more time... we should do nothing that could endanger the success that was always just beyond our reach."

And he went on to make a very serious accusation against "those who should supposedly have been most interested" yet "denied their support." He said he hoped "that they were right and that I was wrong. Otherwise, we face an ugly situation of constant complicity with the aggression against the rights of the noble and long-suffering Palestinian people."

If this complicity repeats itself at the Human Rights Council, the Goldstone Report will be sunk. The power of the state system (and a putative statelet) will have trumped the principles of international law and human rights -- unless human rights advocates act to make sure the right thing gets done.

The human race must learn to be more than just cattle. We move like a herd, we think like a herd, we are controlled like a herd. We are about to be stampeded into thousands of slaughterhouses, just like the end of all livestock herds.

Perhaps we are more accurately compared to industrious ants in a global ant farm? We are trapped in an enclosed environment by an unseen sadistic hand, which collapses our carefully dug tunnels and incinerates us with magnifying glasses. Many independent ants try to get a glimpse of our tormentors, spending hours speculating about the motives of those who so cruelly command our fate. It is important to our overlords that they identify who all of these free-thinking rebellious ants are, in order that they might be marked and sorted-out for termination.

The masters of our universe always follow this pattern in stamping-out resistance to their immoral plans. The American government has carefully planned for the elimination of all those who resist their master plan to dominate all things on this earth. Through covert operations with code names like Phoenix, Condor and Gladio, they have methodically used torture, terrorism and murder to identify and eliminate all potential left/liberal resistance to its ultra right-wing plans for allied nations.

According to researcher John Dinges, at the center of each of these CIA terror campaigns was a data collection system, used to collect the lists for the death squads to target. The idea was always to use covert agents to artificially stimulate the production of an organized left, in order to identify all those who might one day be compelled to rise in opposition. While the liberal resistance rose-up, the hard-core right (which was a reflection of the US government’s belief system) was massively built-up, waiting for the inevitable day of conflict.

In America today, we see the same game plan being playing-out. When the liberal resistance explodes in reaction to the sight of the slaughterhouse, coming into view, then the herd will be culled, removing all the free-thinking trouble-makers who resist the stampede. To that end, lists have been drawn-up of war-resisters, in preparation for the round-up. The Internet was given to the American people for just that purpose.

The American resisters are self-identifying themselves by their Internet searches and activities, in effect, signing their names to subversive lists every time they surf conspiracy or antiwar sites, or dare to express themselves on any forum. This is the sinister motive behind the seemingly benign creation of the Internet. Every technological innovation in communications is co-opted into servicing the malignant government plans through the insertion of “backdoors” and the secret installation of government software.

The Patriot Act provided the long-awaited opportunity to launch a nationwide dragnet to find the new radicals. Mass surveillance of all the American people was authorized. All phone calls and emails will soon be monitored to compile lists of growing personal networks. This will help the government to identify potential radicals who are not yet politically active, or those who do not use the Internet. All the plans for replacing democracy with the police (martial law, FEMA camps, FISA bill) are steps that have been taken in preparation for the day when the people will justify the use of these fascist measures against them, in reaction to the bombing of Iran, another “false flag” terror attack, a general uprising, or some other undefined “emergencies.”

The Internet itself is the “backdoor” into the most private secrets of every web surfer. Not only is the Internet the backdoor, but it serves as an instrument for subversive agitation, for agents provocateurs to cultivate “extremist beliefs systems,” and the spreading of radicalization, just as the government claims in its public witch hunt, known as the “Homegrown Terrorism Act.” But the real hidden issue, that the grand inquisitors of the homegrown radical hunt will not examine is – how much of the radicalization and the extremist beliefs are the natural products of moral outrage and acts of self-defense, and much of it is the product of secret government agencies’ handiwork, meant to inflame a radical leftist movement?

How much of the division today within the antiwar and anti-fascist movements has been caused by covert disinformation agents, sowing half-true government propaganda? How many of the divisions in the 911 Truth Movement were manufactured by these agents of division? The movement cannot unite around a central issue because every issue has been splintered. This is evidence that the government’s secret plans are succeeding. If we cannot unite around a common understanding of events, including the identification of the real masters of America, before they give that dreaded final order (for us), then there will be no immovable mass of united Americans standing squarely in the path of their incoming irresistible force.

Who are the conspirators? Are the principle powers behind the plot to be described as international bankers, Zionists, Illuminati, or some mysterious combination of all of them, as has been described in detail by former British spy John Coleman, in “Committee of 300”? Elements of all these subversive secretive groups are definitely the financial powers driving the New World Order, but, on another level, they are merely pawns as well, dancing to the tunes of the CIA puppeteers. All lesser conspiracies must be subject to one primary driving group of plotters. Many (if not most) of the conspiracy sites on the Internet are agency creations, serving to divide and mislead the real truth-seekers in a thousand different directions. The right-wing conspiracy against freedom is driven by leftist impersonators.

Many of the sources of new conspiracy theories keep turning-out to have connections to various intelligence agencies, like Coleman, who is alleged to have been a member of MI6. This calls his veracity into question, especially considering that his work largely ignores the Zionist connection to world events, blaming everything on the super-secret “Committee,” that he alone knows the inner workings thereof.

Another questionable source of alternative conspiracy theories was Joe Vialls (a.k.a. “Ari Ben-Menashe,” formerly of the Israeli Mossad). His constant usage of insider information to support his wild theories, such as Israel’s military plans for Iraq’s oil pipelines led many people to question his work. His “Operation Shekhinah” report was validated after the US invasion of Iraq. His report on the Falklands War about gigantic new oil fields was confirmed by recent reports of vast oil fields recently discovered off the coast of Brazil. Vialls later discredited himself with exposes which never came true, like a planned al Qaida attack on the US using airliners spreading ricin, and another called “Fortress America,” which allegedly involved 250,000 Israeli assassins in the United States.

What really destroyed Joe’s credibility with the 911 movement was his attempt to cover-up CIA and Mossad involvement in the attacks, blaming them instead upon the French, the Russians and the Germans. He ignored the obvious fact that America and Israel had wanted the war on terrorism, which the terrorist attacks would justify. His theory was that the attack on the New York financial center was revenge committed upon the Zionist bankers, intended to disrupt their oil pipeline steal underway in Central Asia.

In spite of all of this, Joe Vialls provided invaluable insights into the countless intrigues unfolding around pipelines and oil fields. Just as his information on Iraqi pipelines and South American oil fields proved to be true and very helpful in understanding conspiracy motives in the war on terrorism, his revelations concerning conflict with Russia over Central Asian oil and gas fields help us to understand the benefits to be obtained from our standoff with Putin. As hard as it may be to believe, the continuity of freedom in the Western world may very well rest in the hands of a former general of the KGB.

If Joe Vialls was really a Mossad mole, then why did he base his theories about the Israeli connection to the war on terrorism on the darkest anti-Semitic beliefs, making his work unreadable to a majority of Americans? His theories concerning the inner workings of the conspiracy are worth examining, regardless of how his seemingly racist views on the importance and rank of the Zionists in the plot have been portrayed.

Joe’s version of the conspiracy known as the “war on terror” –

“The Jewish State is a true parasite, wholly dependent on massive American funding in order to survive. Remove that funding either intentionally or accidentally, and the Jewish State would be overrun and destroyed in a matter of months…

So what is a poor parasite to do, when its host appears to be running out of the fiscal nourishment it depends on for its very survival? Most normal parasites would seek out a new host, but this is an impossible task for the Jewish State. There is simply no other country on earth capable of generating sufficient revenue to cope with the greed and corruption in Tel Aviv.”

In Joe’s view, the coming collapse of the American economy would take Israel down with us. It was therefore imperative for both Israel and America that the United States seize the Middle Eastern oil fields and pending pipeline routes, in order to base the American/Israeli economies on this new source of unlimited wealth. Israel was to become the “new Rotterdam,” the hub of oil world, even as Rotterdam was the axis of the world’s diamond market. Despite Vialls’ anti-Israeli views, even though the war on terrorism was exactly what America and Israel desired, he maintained that:

“9/11 was a calculated high-tech surgical strike against the Zionist banking heart of New York City,” [carried-out by the French, Russian and German intelligence services]

It is obvious that Joe Vialls was correct about American and Israeli goals, to seize the oil fields of the Middle East and the Caspian Sea region, in order to pipe this strategic resource away from Russia and China, into American tankers and the strategic reserves that we maintain for Israel. His contentions about the power of “New York (Jewish) money” are also correct. The fascist ethnic-cleansing policies of the Israeli military did provide the bloody template that was to be used throughout the war on terrorism, in order to subjugate and rob the Muslim people. It seems that most of his reporting was usually dead-on, except when he relied on intelligence leaks from inside the Israeli establishment, which then proved to be misinformation.

As far as his most startling claims in “Fortress America,” about the secret army of 250,000 Israeli war veterans being sent to the US, to eliminate the targeted enemies of Israel and the patriot militias, only time will tell, whether he was right or wrong. But we must keep in mind, that America’s radicals and extremists are being targeted to be rounded-up and eliminated by some right-wing force. This hardcore group of right-wing killers may as well be Israelis.

Whether the conspiracy against American freedom, known as the New World Order, is the culmination of an ancient Jewish conspiracy to elevate a group of men who claim to be “God’s chosen people,” therefore God’s representatives upon this earth, or merely an extensive intelligence operation that has co-opted this ancient conspiracy, making it the centerpiece of its plans, is still uncertain. One thing that is certain, is that the writer of these words, and all of you who read these words have been marked for “disappearance,” or termination. In the end, it will matter very little about the nationality of the man who shoves the gun in our faces, for whoever he proves to be, he will surely be an immoral monster.

"The Illusion of Democracy – If We Can Keep It

In the name of patriotism, we have participated in a planned deception to create a state of permanent war. In the name of profit, America has been sacrificed on the altar of the god of war, to create a global empire based on the mass-marketing of death.

The official version of this speech, is that Kennedy was describing an international communist conspiracy in this address, but then, the official version of the conspiracy that later killed him was that it was the work of a “lone assassin,” firing magic bullets. The alternative view is that Kennedy was giving us a hidden warning of the secret “power behind the throne,” otherwise known as the “military/industrial complex.”

Over the many decades since President Kennedy uttered this warning, “the conspiracy” has undermined American society. In the process it corrupted three major religions and killed millions worldwide, in order to bring us to the precipice of permanent perpetual war. The next war will take us over that threshold. As citizens in the last remaining bastion of democracy on the face of the earth, we have a responsibility to prevent that final war from beginning. All we have to do now is figure out how to do it.

Kennedy always knew that this dreadful day would come, that one day Americans would have to choose between freedom and the illusion of security. He had heard his predecessor President Dwight D. Eisenhower, prophetically warn of the inevitable future danger that would arise from the military/industrial complex and “the disastrous rise of misplaced power.”

It was as though Ike had personally met the future idiot-in-chief and his vice-idiot-in-chief and psychically sensed the future death and destruction that they would sow throughout the world. In Bush and Cheney, Eisenhower’s nightmare vision is now being realized.

We, along with the rest of the human race, have been set-up in a monumental con job beyond anything the world has ever seen. If we were really powerless to stop them, then why has it proved so difficult for them to start the war upon Iran?

The human race is held hostage to the desires and the plots of American war profiteers. There is no available cash to fund the eradication of human suffering, but there is an endless sea of cash flowing into the dead-end production of weapons, all in the name of “protecting democracy.” A way must be found to interrupt the machinery of war, so that the long-neglected machinery of life can be rediscovered. How many tractors could be made from one tank?

People ask, what democratic action can be taken to stop the runaway military industrial complex from creating a state of perpetual war, to maintain and extend its unjust control over everyman? It seems at first that a clear cut answer would be a massive antiwar movement, but the problem, and therefore the answer, is much broader than that. The ongoing militarization of life is an assault upon all life. The reality is that we are in a fight for all life over the salesmen of corporate death. Understanding this fact ought to make it obvious that our fight should be every sane person’s fight.

The plan being followed is pure evil. The mission of everyman standing for truth, at some point, will bring him into direct contact with some element of this unmitigated form of evil. If stopping this malevolence is not reason enough to risk everything, then nothing is. If we had access to ultimate truth then we might find that this monstrous system is indeed “the Beast” of Revelations. It comes as close to the dark system of total control that is described in that honored book as anything I can imagine. As far as I can tell, the only thing lacking is the “mark” or the chip required to buy and sell.

In order to salvage democracy from the ravages of the military industrial complex, then everyone has to take a personal stand, risking something, in order to contribute personally to saving everything. The solution is for everyone to take a stand for truth, one person at a time, until so many of us rise to our feet that we become a wave. If the masses will not peaceably assemble to preserve their rights, then they will be eaten en masse, by the machine. We must become a force that cannot be ignored.

It is important for individuals in positions of trust, such as newsman to honor their commitments to truth. Anyone who wants to serve as a “watchdog for the people” must be willing to risk his career in defense of the truth, whenever the time comes for him to make his personal stand. When the dust settles, disinformation sources that masquerade as news will be a thing of the past. For the military man, whenever he is given the order to kill, based on reasons which he knows are lies, he must refuse to order his men to do the killing. For the policeman, when his time comes, he must refuse to “taze the bro,” for daring to question the official conspiracy theory of events.

The “war on terrorism” is a euphemism for a war on democracy. The purpose of the entire production is to use democracy, to eliminate democracy. Whether it be here in America, or in England, or in any other country where we have relations, American foreign policy is to use democracy as a tool for burying freedom. The war was created by us (manipulating many foreign players to do our will), to propel a fascist vision of perpetual world war, which will forever justify the militarization of our society and every democracy within reach.

The US war on terror has been, in reality, a machine for sowing terror, intended to force the people who are inclined to self-defense, to [defend themselves] become terrorists. Kidnappings, targeted assassinations, military attacks, and the making of entire populations into refugees, are tactics intended to alienate individuals and drive them to vigilantism. Terrorists are defined as those who take up arms to defend against US attacks and occupation. The driving purpose of the war on terrorism has been to uncover would-be terrorists (those who would resist America), by forcing radicalized men to violently act upon their beliefs. The use of “death squads” and militias to instigate conflicts is a plot to flush-out the hidden commitments to family and country that would drive angry young men to oppose America’s violent designs upon their property.

The truth about the great plan for our enslavement is that at least three of the major world religions have been corrupted in the process. According to plan, American Christianity has been corrupted by a contrived false doctrine known as Christian-Zionism, which embraces terrorism and genocide as the “will of God.” This repeats the corruption of Judaism by secular (atheist) and Talmudic Jews, who have promoted their plan as “God’s will” to “restore the land to God’s chosen people,” even though expressed Zionist intentions have always been to kill all those who stood in the way of them stealing another people’s homeland. Imposter-preachers like these, and the endless line of charlatans that has preceded them, calling themselves “Christian-Zionists,” are the foot soldiers, marching in step with the “Israel Lobby,” leading the world into the hoped-for battle of Armegeddon. It is an extremely sad commentary on the intelligence levels of the ordinary, trusting folks who call themselves the “religious right,” that so many of them would follow national suicide cults, masquerading as patriotic organizations. The US has adapted Israel’s “Iron Wall” doctrine to its “war on terror,” using fear and the perception of threat to manipulate the American people into submission to its demands. It was some ancient Greek who said, “The mills of God grind slowly, yet they grind exceeding small”. Just about anything anyone ever said, got said in some permutation by an ancient Greek. They had so many different kinds of philosophers that sometimes opposing views were being declaimed on opposite sides of the same river; one weeping and one laughing. In about 2500 years, we’ve gone from a glut of philosophers to a glut of psychopaths. We’ve gone from high art and noble thinking to trash art and ‘stinking thinking’; stealing a term from the most prominent recovery program of our time. People think it’s an economic recovery that we need but what we need to recover is something that has gone missing in ourselves.

It fascinates me to see Israel arm-twisting the world over the Goldstone Report. It is even more fascinating to watch them suborn the official representatives of the victims of Gaza. I watch in disbelief, the appearance of mysterious police forces in small, western towns and the deployment by The Department of Homeland Insecurity of cutting edge, crowd-control weapons to local police forces. There’s no problem at the moment but they’re working on that.

The Earth is rumbling and shaking beneath the floorboards. The bowels of the Earth are an echo chamber for human discontent. We’ve fed her enough nasty cuisine to qualify as the mother of all bad Mexican dinners. Montezuma is not amused and quite a few of you aren’t going to be either. Well, those among us who are literate enough have read the lines about ‘signs and wonders’ might have some idea what it all means. Meanwhile, the drunks in the buckboard of the great ship of state are whooping it up like the boys at the Malamute Saloon.

I have to laugh every time I hear about how the recession (which is not a recession) is turning around and everywhere you look you can’t help but see those green shoots on the Chia head of the economy. Then, every week jobs are going South- metaphorically speaking, if you catch my drift- and unemployment benefits are running out and the actual unemployment figures are inching up to 20%. What little manufacturing remains in the U.S. has had to cut back their production because of lowered demand and- that’s right kiddies- Christmas is coming and winter is coming too.

What startles and fascinates and intrigues me the most though is… that there has been little or no improvement in the human psyche. Surrounded by the trappings of a Shake & Bake, instant gratification culture and all the sophistications of the modern age we are still behaving like Neanderthals. Our religious superstitions, devoid of the previous back mystery of other times, are now empty shells riddled with all the excesses that the front men preach against, while performing them for their own amusement.

Certain things hold a people and a culture together. They may not be the best glue we can get but they serve to provide cohesion and continuity. These things are falling apart and cannot hold together because the chemistry has gone awry. What happens in times like this is that the state arms itself against the people as the wheels come off the cart. They arm themselves to protect themselves -and the few who have looted the system entire- from the coming outrage of the people which they intend to stoke into flames when the time comes. There were and are many better solutions to the situation but… we’re not dealing with enlightened minds. We’re dealing with Neanderthal paranoia and appetites.

All around the globe you can see the busy hands of the demented and deluded at work. The Weasel of Westminster, Tony Blair; that shining light of The Middle East, that prancing poodle for Mr. All Hat and no Cattle, that shimmering scion of nation building in plundered landscapes, which no longer possess nations but are now the summa qua non of dismantled and displaced populations, mourning the absence of their fellows… yes, that Tony Blair is about to bypass The Lupercal and accept the kingly crown of Europe where no doubt he will perform as he has so far; a disgrace to the world, his country and himself.

The president of the United States has exposed himself as a slick liar with zero shame. He’s perched on one of history’s surfboards and riding like a man on a mission known only to himself… coming down off the wave and right into a bottomless, lava tube where there is no light, no recovery and no possibility of return. I’m waving a linen handkerchief as I watch him from my sidecar of the precession of the Simulacra, as it joins the equinox somewhere in hyperspace. Bon voyage Mon Capitaine. It’s a parade he’s leading of blind Geithners and deaf Bernakes; ranks of suited clones descend like armies of zombies in a cemetery of night. “No Exit”, as a pernicious, commie of a Frenchman once said.

The mass of the peoples of the world are not to be outdone. Their heads bob up and down like pink flamingoes- of the John Waters variety- on a drinking glass. Nimrods and Nodwells all, they do their duty to entropy; on their way to replenish the dinosaur juice for some future world of roads to nowhere. It takes a lot of gas to drive to a destination that cannot be reached by any highway. Well, like they say, it’s the journey that’s important. I suppose that even if you never get anywhere you know where you’ve been. What you’ve been is had.

I wish I had a water buffalo that I could ride out past the Great Wall of China like Lao Tzu but I’m not even in China and I suspect it’s not the same world out there that it was in those times. Shambhala is hidden in mist and I’ve no idea where. I suspect Mongolia but I don’t know. I just don’t know.

Who could have imagined we would ever come to a time where an honest statesman was rarer than hummingbird’s teeth? Who could imagine the streams of corruption that run like the rivers in spring, through the marketplaces and houses of worship; through the neighborhoods and communities. It’s a hard call whether confusion or corruption is on top at any given moment. In tandem with the pandemic of ignorance, the specters of black-suited police squads tap with their batons on their Plexiglas shields. They have no idea how they came to be where they are. They know only attack and retreat and they’re not anticipating the latter. I suspect they enjoy their work. The only thing greater than anger in the heart of a bully, is the fear that generates it.

Sometimes there’s nothing you can do. Of course you do what you can. It may seem futile but it’s not. Somehow all the little efforts add up to something further up the road. We cannot see the impact of our humanity against a backdrop of its absence. Sometimes you just have to soldier on. There are two types, so engaged, after two different ends. I suspect that if one can obtain ignominy then one can obtain redemption too. It stands to reason that if there is some great concentration of darkness there must be some great concentration of light as well. It does seem that you have to walk through a lot of darkness to find the light. The reverse would not be true. It’s always harder to go the right way because you can’t travel on the usual routes.

The greatest injury to me is not the daily evidence of dirty doings or the wide indifference to it. It’s the crushing weight of the moment as it soldiers on as well. It’s the ordinary as it passes beyond its own boundaries, as if there might be some succor there. It’s as if perversion would finally arrive at virtue by persistence.

"Why Are We Unable to Resist?

I often wonder why young Americans do nothing to protest the outrageous criminal regime that has taken control of the United States. Where is the resistance? Two illegal wars, a growing police state, and several trillion dollars stolen by criminal bankers from the American people in the past year alone -- why aren't they protesting, resisting - burning tires in the streets?

Having grown up during the Vietnam War, I was immersed in the protest movement and vibrant anti-war music and culture of the 1960s. "Lucky Man" by Emerson, Lake, and Palmer is a good example of the anti-war music of the time. I find it odd that there is no similar anti-war movement or music today. Faced with never-ending wars in the Middle East, today's youth seem completely apathetic and apolitical.During the years that I attended public school, the United States was engaged in an undeclared war of aggression in Southeast Asia that nobody really understood. Every week, the American people saw actual photos from the war in LIFE magazine and could easily see through the deception that we were fighting "communism". After 8 years of war in Afghanistan and 18 years in Iraq, however, there is no similar photo-journalism of comparable quality coming from the "embedded" journalists covering these wars. Likewise, there is virtually no anti-war music or protest movement against the criminal wars being fought in our name. Why?

We have to look at the media to understand the lack of a similar anti-war movement in the United States. Today, there is no mass resistance because the U.S. media is now completely owned and controlled by Zionist Jews who actually support the fraudulent "War on Terror" and the illegal wars being fought by the United States and its allies. These wars are being waged to benefit Israel and strengthen the Zionist hegemony in the Middle East and Central Asia. The Zionist-controlled mass media in the United States now works full time to promote the war agenda - first Afghanistan, then Iraq, and now Iran. In the Zionist-controlled media there is no room for any real criticism of the Zionist war agenda.

Paul Wolfowitz, one of the senior U.S. officials who conspired and planned the wars of aggression against both Afghanistan and Iraq, is now pushing for war against Iran in the pages of the Financial Times (U.K.), for example. It needs to be understood that Wolfowitz is guilty of the most serious war crime, "a crime against peace" as defined by the Nuremberg Principles. That his opinion is published in a leading financial paper illustrates my point that the mass media actively promotes the Zionist war agenda. Wolfowitz has strong connections to the state of Israel. He lived in Israel as a teenager when his Polish-born father, Jacob, worked at the Technion, and his sister, Laura, married an Israeli and lives in Jerusalem.

The controlled media today censors and sanitizes the images and information about the wars and the human suffering the aggression has caused to the people of Iraq and Afghanistan. The public is kept in the dark about the true costs of the illegal wars, both human and financial. Most importantly, the U.S. media keeps powerful images like these from the Vietnam and Iraq wars off the pages of our newspapers.

The U.S. evacuates after the fall of Saigon

After nearly 19 years of fighting and bombing Iraqis, very few images of the human cost of the war have been published. The ones that have been seen are horrible beyond belief and reveal the criminal nature of the war of aggression.

The Vietnam war was being fought, we were told, to keep Southeast Asia from falling to the communists. Thousands of young men, including several of my relatives, went to Vietnam to fight "communism". Many thousands of young Americans died in Viet Nam. An untold number of Vietnamese died.

Vietnam eventually did fall to the communists and the last U.S. personnel had to flee from the roof of the embassy in Saigon with desperate people being pushed off the over-crowded helicopters. Despite the fact that the U.S. lost the war in Vietnam, the world did not come to an end. As a matter of fact, nobody even seemed to notice. Most people were simply glad the 12-year old war was over.

I have often wondered why today's youth seem utterly unable to resist the blatant lies of the criminal government and controlled media, which are clearly extremely harmful to them and their nation. I can't understand why the young people in America and Europe abuse themselves with tattoos and body piercings. Don't they care about themselves? I have seen people with screws coming through their eyebrows that look like construction accidents that should be sent to the nearest emergency room.

Christopher J. Petherick, the former chief editor of the Spotlight and American Free Press, a weekly newspaper I wrote for in Washington, D.C., had an ugly metal stud sticking through his tongue that looked absolutely awful. I had never seen such a thing. He told me that he was a Satanist. I thought he was just an East Coast trendie. I sometimes told him that we were doing the Lord's work by spreading the Truth.

Christopher J. Petherick, a self-avowed Satanist, was the editor of American Free Press and the former Spotlight, publications of the Liberty Lobby of Washington, D.C. It makes no sense that a Satanist would be the chief editor of a newspaper that is purportedly written for patriotic Christian Americans, unless one understands that the Liberty Lobby is actually owned and controlled by a Zionist Jew named Mark Lane. The paper is a controlled opposition outlet that acts like flypaper to create a list of active patriots -- for the Jewish intelligence organization Lane works for.

Petherick fired me after a three-man team of heavily-armed undercover police broke my arm and TASERed me in front of my family, but only after collecting many thousands of dollars from readers for the Bollyn "legal defense fund," which were kept by the so-called employee owned newspaper. I later discovered that the newspaper and the organization behind it, the Liberty Lobby, are actually owned by the Jewish leftist lawyer, Mark Lane, and have been since the early 1990s when he bought the assets of Liberty Lobby with some of the $5 million he had been paid by Willis A. Carto in legal fees.

I learned this from L.T. Patterson, publisher of Criminal Politics of Cincinnati. Patterson's newsletter is similar to the publications of the Mark Lane's Liberty Lobby, which is what led Lane to sue Patterson in the mid-1990s for some $10 million. Lane, a Zionist Jew, wanted to have a monopoly in the patriotic newspaper business. During the legal process Patterson learned that Lane had acquired the assets of the nearly bankrupt Liberty Lobby in the early 1990s. Manfred Roeder, a German patriot who has been imprisoned often in occupied Germany, told me that such controlled opposition newspapers like National Zeitung are designed to skim the cream off of the nationalist movement. They also serve as outlets of disinformation and have even more sinister purposes.

Jane Fonda and Mark Lane worked closely together in the anti-war movement during the Vietnam War. Lane, who served in U.S. Army intelligence in post-war Germany, owns the assets of Liberty Lobby and American Free Press.

As the U.S. prepared for war in Kuwait and Iraq in the summer of 1990, I began organizing pro-Palestinian students at the University of California at Santa Cruz who were opposed to the war effort. I learned a great deal through my anti-war efforts. I saw how the anti-war movement was taken over by Jewish students from the Hillel organization (B'nai B'rith). The issue of occupied Palestine was pushed to the side. This is what controlled opposition means: controlling both sides of the debate to control the message.

James B. Phillips, a devout Catholic and dear friend from Chicago who served in Vietnam, recently sent me a video from the mid-1980s that explains how Americans have been demoralized and why.

This is exactly the problem we face in 2009. Although Americans have the information that proves that their government has not been elected and is lying to them about 9-11 and everything else, the people do nothing to resist. As the former Soviet journalist Yuri Bezmenov says in the video clip about the KGB's demoralization of American youth through the media, "Ideological subversion is the process which is legitimate and open. You can see it with your own eyes.... It has nothing to do with espionage... in reality the main emphasis of the KGB is NOT in the area of intelligence at all. According to my opinion, and the opinions of many defectors of my caliber, only about 15% of time, money, and manpower is spent on espionage as such. The other 85 percent is a slow process which we call either ideological subversion, active measures, or psychological warfare. What it basically means is to change the perception of reality of every American [so] that despite the abundance of information no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their families, their community, and their country."

Today, nearly every network and news outlet in the U.S. mass media is owned and controlled by Zionist Jews. This is a statement of fact and should not be misconstrued to be anti-Semitic in any way. Zionist Jews control nearly all of the U.S. mass media: television and radio networks, major newspapers, book publishers and leading book stores, and the big film studios and chains of movie theatres. They have taken control of the media for one reason - to manipulate public opinion by controlling the message. It is the same with media as with pipelines: He who owns the pipeline controls the product.

Many of the Jewish media moguls are members of the secret organization of Freemasons, the International Order of B'nai B'rith. Philip Morris Klutznick, the man who made Obama president, was the international president of B'nai B'rith. The Sulzberger family who owns the New York Times was one of the founding families of Lodge No. 1 of the B'nai B'rith, which was started in New York City in 1843. It is through this secret society, which is closed to all non-Jews, that the media moguls and Jewish financiers are able to conspire against the American people while living among them.

The B'nai B'rith also started the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) in the early 1900s. The ADL is an organization that protects the Jewish criminal network by attacking those who expose their crimes. The ADL has infiltrated police departments across the United States. The B'nai B'rith also runs Hillel, an organization for promoting the Zionist agenda at every college campus in the United States. Through their organizations like the ADL and Hillel, the secretive Elders of Zion of the B'nai B'rith are able to push their agenda into every community and college campus in America. The Protocols of the Elders of Zion is certainly not a "hoary fake", and is most likely the protocols from a meeting of the leaders of the B'nai B'rith.

Bezmenov's statement about the KGB being primarily occupied with disinformation and demoralization efforts aimed at Americans through the media is similar to the analysis by the German intelligence expert, Andreas von Bülow, who told me that 90 percent of the work done by the CIA and other intelligence agencies is disinformation and deception.

It needs to be understood that communism and Zionism are fraternal twins from the same mother -- big Jewish capital of the Rothschild sort. This relationship can be seen in Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod, the most senior advisers of President Barack Hussein Obama II. Emanuel, the son of a Zionist terrorist, and Axelrod, the son of Jewish communists, were commissioned in 1992 by the daughter of Jewish financier Philip Morris Klutznick of Chicago to make Obama our "first black president." Zionism and communism are two heads of the same evil beast.

Communism and Zionism emerged together in the Russian Empire in the late 1800s. There were six communist parties, two of which were also Zionist. Although the Rothschild family who created the state of Israel is capitalist, the Russian Jews who emigrated to Palestine in the late 1800s and early 1900s were ardent communists and socialists. Most of the Ashkenazi (Khazar and Slavic) Jews who built the Zionist state and who run it to this day come from the communist and Zionist parties that created the kibbutz and moshav settlements in Palestine. The Jews who were forced to emigrate to Palestine (later Israel) and the millions of people who have lived under communism are similar. Zionists and communists are both merely the pawns of the Rothschilds; foot soldiers for international Jewish bankers.

So another September 11th has come and gone. The most recent marks the eight year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

In the USA, Sept. 11th has been designated "Patriot Day" by the American government. It’s a kind of memorial day for the nearly 3000 people killed.

All US flags are mandated to fly at half-staff, and Americans are supposed to observe a moment of silence at 8:46 AM EST, the moment when the first airliner hit the World Trade Center in 2001.

The politicians make their speeches.

The media broadcasts its tributes.

And patriotic Americans wave their flags.

But for all its nationalistic piety, this "Patriot Day" is completely misnamed. It should be called Propaganda Day.

Why?

Because Sept. 11th served as the political pretext for the USA and its allies to launch a global war of conquest based upon lies and deceit.

Without the "new Pearl Harbor" that was 9/11, there would be no Western invasion of Afghanistan and no invasion of Iraq. No Abu Ghraib torture and no Gitmo Gulag. No Patriot Act and no Homeland Security. No "Long War" that will supposedly last decades.

In short, there would no War on Terror in general.

But the most Orwellian thing?

That would be the deception that the Anglo-American "War on Terrorism" is actually about fighting terrorism, when it clearly is not. Then there are those nagging questions about the events of 9/11 itself, which have been relegated to the realm of "conspiracy theory" by the Mainstream media and society.

All told, this Western-led war has murdered well over a million people, maimed countless more, displaced greater numbers as refugees, and destroyed entire nations in everything but name.

Afghani child turned into NATO "collateral damage."

In Afghanistan, over 1000 civilians have been killed in the first half of 2009 alone, according to a UN report. This is up over 24% since the same period in 2008.

One of the latest atrocities committed by NATO forces was the air strike in Kunduz, where at least 90-100 Afghanis were killed in early Sept. 2009. Some of these people were incinerated alive when German troops called in F-15 missile strikes on fuel tankers below.

This is nothing new.

American and allied forces have "accidentally" bombed wedding parties multiple times, raided hospitals, and even engaged in sex trafficking at the US Embassy in Kabul.

This latter crime is similar to the sexual exploitation perpetrated by the infamous US "military contractor" company Blackwater (now rebranded as Xe) in Iraq. Only in the Blackwater case, the victims were Iraqi children. Thus, sworn statements by former employees "describe Blackwater as 'having young girls provide oral sex to Enterprise members in the 'Blackwater Man Camp’ in exchange for one American dollar.’"

These things are but a drop in the ocean and do not even include the 2001 Mazar-i-Sharif Massacre in which American troops are said to have tortured and killed 3000 Taliban POWs:

One Afghan, shown in battle fatigues, says of the treatment of prisoners in the Shibarghan camp: "I was a witness when an American soldier broke one prisoner’s neck and poured acid on others. The Americans did whatever they wanted. We had no power to stop them."

Another Afghan soldier states, "They cut off fingers, they cut tongues, they cut their hair and cut their beards. Sometimes they did it for pleasure; they took the prisoners outside and beat them up and then returned them to the prison. But sometimes they were never returned and they disappeared, the prisoner disappeared. I was there."

And still, this doesn’t begin to address the historic crime that has been committed by the Coalition of the Willing against Iraq–where Iraqi dead number over 1 .3 million, with 4.5 million displaced from their homes (or 1 out of every 6 Iraqis), 1-2 million widowed, another 5 million orphaned, and depleted uranium poisoning the land.

The 2004 Fallujah Massacre, the 2005 Haditha Massacre, or the sundry acts of daily brutality meted out with numbing regularity by Coalition of the Killing in both Iraq and Afghanistan.

They’re all part of the crime of the century.

Meanwhile, most citizens of the self-styled Free World can barely stifle a disinterested yawn, rousing only to complain that the war is no longer worth fighting because of the high cost in blood and treasure … for themselves.

But at least this war has brought Western-style democracy to the Greater Middle East!

Commenting about the Roman Empire, the great historian Tacitus once wrote, "To ravage, to slaughter, to usurp under false titles, they call empire; and where they make a desert, they call it peace."

For our times, his insight is just as relevant, but it must updated for the Anglo-American Empire of today: "To ravage, to slaughter, to usurp under false titles, they call democracy; and where they make a wasteland, they call it freedom."

The assault on Iran appears imminent. When I start hearing unreasonable people talking like they are reasonable I know one of their friends is coming up behind me with a sap. One thing you must ALWAYS keep in mind is that we are dealing with psychopaths....

Any time you see a sudden shift in the way that formerly consistently lying sacks of shit present the news, you can be sure the word came up from below to switch the program because snakes were about to be slithering under the theater seats and it’s necessary that the public has their eyes on the screen.

Most people who read here get their news from the alternative media. I do to a degree but I also get my news from Asia and the Russian press so… a lot of you might have missed where Putin (who is definitely in charge in Russia) said very directly that Iran is not afraid, not even a teensy weensy little bit about Israel coming after them. There’s a reason for this. This is a point I want to make with serious impact. Iran is not afraid of Israel at all and there’s a reason for that but I’m not going to spoil the surprise. I just want to say that Bibi and Ehud are in for a big surprise....

Israel has gone to the well so many times that they think they can do it without even caring what the world thinks. They control the information flow for the rank and file so what’s the problem? Heh heh… sooner or later everyone learns that one should never over reach themselves. Alexander who was the very spirit of the gods of war on Earth learned this lesson and what was that? Something went wrong with his stomach. Evil really does destroy itself and it is about to show you that....
