McCain Wanted Lieberman as VP

And he still could have him....

"How Palin Came to the Top of the List

August 29, 2008

ABC's Jan Crawford Greenburg reports: It wasn't until Sunday night that John McCain, after meeting with his four top advisers, finally decided he could not tap independent Sen. Joe Lieberman of Connecticut to be his running mate. One adviser, tasked with taking the temperature of the conservative base, had strongly made the case to McCain that it would be a disaster for the party and that the base would revolt. McCain concluded he could not go that route.

The next day, McCain studied the three men at the top of his shortlist: Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge. All had different strengths and negatives, but McCain was not satisfied. None of them had what McCain believed he needed to do -- and would have done -- with Lieberman....

"Is Sarah Palin Joe Liberman's ticket ... back onto the ticket?....

I am going to go out on a limb here.

Sarah was not announced as VP until after Hillary had failed to wrest the Democratic nomination away from Obama. It could be that Sarah was a desperation ploy to have a woman on the ticket to woo disaffected Hillary voters. If so, having a beauty queen opposed to birth control and abortion was a major miscalculation.

Or maybe something else is up.

We know that McCain was still pushing for Joe Lieberman to be VP as of last Sunday. McCain might have chosen Palin in a desperation ploy, or maybe out of pique at being denied his first choice.

Or... and here is where the convention will get interesting, the GOP leadership has realized that McCain cannot win against Obama, either with Lieberman or without, and saddled him with a crippling choice for VP in a ploy to get McCain to decide to refuse the nomination, thereby opening up a floor fight for a new set of nominees.

Yes, it's kind of a wild idea. But right now I am having a hard time seeing the GOP as being that incredibly stupid in choosing Sarah Palin as the candidate for VP." -- Webmaster of Wake the Flock Up

AmeriKan MSM Admits Iran Not Building Bomb

"Iran would have to change the way the centrifuges are operating to enrich uranium to high, weapons-grade levels, something that would be difficult since the Natanz facility is under IAEA video surveillance."

Go see where the quote is in the article!

And yet, we have Zionist-controlled, agenda-pushing, war-promoting, AmeriKan MSM shoveling shit again. Any wonder I get to swearing, readers?

"Iran reports new strides at uranium enrichment plant; US, allies likely to press for another round of sanctions" by Associated Press | August 30, 2008

TEHRAN - Iran has increased the number of operating centrifuges at its uranium enrichment plant to 4,000, a top official said yesterday, pushing ahead with the nuclear program despite threats of new UN sanctions.

The number was up from the 3,000 centrifuges that Iran announced in November that it was operating at its plant in the central city of Natanz. Still, it is well below the 6,000 it said last year it would operate by summer 2008, suggesting the program may be behind schedule.

(Sigh. Blog author has nothing to say; he's just enraged beyond belief over the war-agenda propaganda of the AmeriKan MSM!)

The United States and its allies are likely to press the UN later this year for a new round of sanctions after Iran did not accept a package of economic and technological incentives in return for suspending enrichment. But they could face strong resistance from Russia after this month's crisis in Georgia deeply damaged ties between Washington and Moscow.

Yeah, and then they will demonize Russia and the U.N again! Personally, I don't think it ever reaches the U.N. again. With Israel screaming at the top of their lungs to bomb, Iran will be attacked before the next set of resolutions is attempted.

By reaching 4,000 centrifuges, the program is moving into an industrial-scale program that could churn out enough enriched material for dozens of nuclear weapons. Analysts, however, say Iran would have to change the way the centrifuges are operating to enrich uranium to high, weapons-grade levels, something that would be difficult since the Natanz facility is under IAEA video surveillance.

Zionist Control Over AmeriKa Waning?

"Israel twisting US and Europe's arm on Iran with 'pre-emptive' strike

Israelis are really pissed off. They are like a wild animal in a cage. Their precious Joe Lieberman failed again to make it to Vice President In spite of his willingness to readily shift from democrat to ‘independent’, to republican or juggler or stripper. Their ‘mighty’ army lost the war in 2006 against Hezbollah and they can’t even face Hamas in poor Gaza. Israelis have been internationally humiliated and are now just seething. In spite of years of tedious efforts, they can’t convince the crumbling US empire to start their war against Iran. They have even had to watch the US ask Iran for diplomatic negotiations, agree to withdrawal dates from Iraq and approve a new Lebanese Unity government which includes arch-enemy Hezbollah and which protects Iranian-allied Hezbollah’s right to bear arms in defense of Lebanon against any foreign aggression.

Yes… Israelis and dual-national Israeli/Americans are livid. They are raging and steaming. They want their precious war. After all, Israel only thrives on wars and is not used to being on the losing end.
Too bad. Israel better get used to it. Georgia or no Georgia, Israel’s fate is sealed. It’s just a matter of time before that “shitty little country” as ambassador Daniel Bernard so well put it, becomes History.

Palin's Down-Syndrome Child is Daughters

"Alaskan Governor's child may be her daughter's?

The nation has been abuzz today with talk of Sarah Palin, John McCain's surprise vice-presidential pick. The internet and news media exploded in the hours following the announcement.

Along with all the stories making their way through the news cycle is one regarding Trig Palin, her youngest child. Apparently, there has been suspicion, some reported through Alaskan media outlets even before the Vice Presidential buzz, that the child actually belongs to her daughter, Bristol Palin. Normally this would be a personal issue, but this becomes a public matter because of Sarah Palin's stance against abortion and birth control, promoting 'abstinence only' beliefs.
The story seems ludicrious, and surely the GOP workers that vetted her would have stopped McCain from choosing her if anything like this were true. Only, now it has come out that Governor Sarah Palin was not vetted properly. The McCain camp states that they didn't feel it was necessary.

Even if it is entirely false and ludicrous, people are talking about it, and are quite interested in it. It has cropped up on a number of liberal and conservative blogs and sites. One Republican blog pre-empted the rumors, urging people to support Governor Palin "no matter what happens." It is absurd to believe Barack Obama is a Muslim, but that hasn't stopped 10% to 15% of America believing it is true. It remains to be seen if this story will sprout legs. So far, no media outlet has outright disproved the rumor (which should be very easy to do), though the Anchorage Daily News has reported the rumor.

The believers have a few scattered points:

1. Bristol Palin left school for an extended period of time, due to mononucleosis according to her family for the last 4-5 months of Trig's pregnancy. Some classmates claimed later that they had seen Bristol Palin pregnant.
2. Sarah Palin did not reveal to anyone outside her family that she was pregnant until 8 months into her pregnancy. Even then, she showed no signs of pregnancy. Alaskan news outlets commented on this, but did not go further. There are pictures of her at Super Tuesday (just a month before the baby was born).

http://www.adn.com/politics/story/339576.html

She is notably a very trim woman, so it would likely be difficult to hide a pregnancy.

3. There are supposed photos showing Bristol Palin having gained weight, possibly significantly so in the abdomen. I haven't been able to verify these.

4. Sarah Palin went into labor in Dallas just before she was due to deliver a keynote address at the Republican Governors' Energy Conference, and flew to Seattle, then Alaska while still in labor.

http://www.newsminer.com/news/2008/apr/22/palins-flight-labor-falls-under-scrutiny/

Supposedly, she was in labor during the 8 hour flight, and the crew and attendants did not know.

(Quote from the Article Above):

""Governor Palin was extremely pleasant to flight attendants and her
stage of pregnancy was not apparent by observation as she didn't show
any signs of distress," Boren said."

This is extremely risky behavior, and you are advised by doctors, traditionally, not to fly once you are past 7 months pregnant. If airlines are made aware, sometimes they will prevent you from flying. Sarah Palin did not inform the flight.

5. Sarah has had four children before, and a prolonged labor that lasted a flight from Dallas to Alaska is extremely unlikely, as labor times usually decrease with the number of births.

6. There is also some rumor of an interview with a co-worker of Todd Palin at the oil fields in Prudhoe Bay (North Slope, where Todd Palin worked for BP), though I haven't been able to verify this. The co-worker claims Todd told him of the situation, supposedly.

7. Likewise, there were at the time a few classmates of Bristol's that claimed they had seen her pregnant.

8. Sarah Palin appeared 4 months before the baby's birth in Vogue magazine, and was "trim and lithe." (Searching for photos.)
Now, the counterpoints are that:

-Of course, this is all very far-fetched. Republicans would have vetted her and this would have never slipped past them

-She may not have been showing the pregnancy, despite her trim and slim frame, because of the low birthweight of infants with Downs Syndrome.

-Mothers at 44 (as Sarah Palin is), have an extremely high rate of Downs Syndrome in their children. However, this does not exclude Bristol Palin, as very young mothers also have an increased risk of Downs Syndrome in their children.

Palin is a Pathological Liar

"McCain's VP Is A Liar & Vogue Cover Model

McCain spent weeks calling Obama a celebrity, but the Republican senator's pick for his running mate was on the cover of Vogue Magazine last February and featured in a photo shoot layout.

But it also turns out, Palin is a liar.

In an interview with the Anchorage Daily News from December talking about the Vogue photo shoot, Palin said, "At first they had me in a bunch of furs," she said. "Yeah, I have furs on my wall, but I don't wear furs."

So what is this photo of Palin giving a speech wearing a fur coat? No woman forgets owning a fur coat, it's one of those primordial things that all women want, just like a honking big diamond ring.

It may seem trivial, but it's not. If a politician is going to lie about something as unimportant as what kind of coat they wear, they're going to lie about bigger things. It's a character flaw."

The Roving Eyes of John McCain

"John McCain: eyes fixed on VPs ass(Video).

by AntonBurschFri Aug 29, 2008 at 09:58:28 PM PDT

Watch how many times creepy old grampa McCain fixes his, ussually dazed, gaze, like a laser on Palin's ass during her speech. Starting at 11:41, right when she starts talking. He looks up suddenly each time she turns back to look at him.

I guess that John thinks it's all good since his wife Cindy is behind him and can't see where his eyes are aimed.

Note to John McCain: when they say 'look, just don't touch' they mean 'look, but not when you have the whole world looking at you looking at your VPs ass for 15 minutes'.

Forget old man yells at cloud.

It's old man stares at younger woman's ass uncontrollably for 15 minutes.

Old boss stares at younger woman who is his new employee's ass uncontrollably for 15 minutes.

Sounds like John does stand for traditional(sexist) Republican values!!

VP Pick Palin Captures Women's Vote for McCain

This is the line the MSM is going to sell us for November?

Please.

"
She is popular with GOP conservatives because she is a deeply religious Christian, is a hunter who supports gun rights, and has a strong antiabortion record.... opposes stem cell research, physician-assisted suicide, and state health benefits for same-sex partners."

Go ahead and vote for her then, Clintonistas!

Oh, and this is for the conservatives who love her
:

"A year after graduating from college,
she eloped with Todd Palin, her high school sweetheart, and was married in a civil ceremony."

EXCUSE ME? A "CIVIL" ceremony?!

This DEEPLY RELIGIOUS WOMAN was married in a CIVIL ceremony?

And she wants to DENY HEALTH BENEFITS to gay people?!?

"McCain surprises with VP pick; Palin, first woman on a GOP ticket, is hailed as a reformer, but readiness at issue" by Michael Kranish, Globe Staff | August 30, 2008

DAYTON, Ohio - In picking a little-known, 44-year-old, first term governor with scant foreign policy experience, McCain immediately faced questions about whether she would be qualified to occupy the Oval Office if something happened to McCain, who turned 72 yesterday.

More than just that question, too. Did you see my link at top, readers?

Aides said he made his decision based on his gut.

Oh, no, those are the worst kind! That's a BUSH CHARACTERISTIC!!!!

The Obama campaign immediately cast the choice of Palin as a mistake by McCain and a boon for the Democratic ticket, asserting that "McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency."

Obama, himself, later softened the reaction, telling reporters in Pennsylvania that he had called to congratulate Palin and calling her "a compelling person" whose selection was "one more indicator of this country moving forward."

Translation: You CAN VOTE FOR HER, feminists and Hillary women.

This statement by Obama confirms that AmeriKan politics is nothing but shit fooleys!!!!

McCain hopes the selection of Palin will limit any boost in support for Obama after four days of McCain-bashing at the Democratic National Convention this week.

McCain-bashing? When, AmeriKan MSM?

In addition to trying to attract disaffected Clinton supporters, the McCain campaign hopes that Palin will also energize the Republican Party's base. She is popular with GOP conservatives because she is a deeply religious Christian, is a hunter who supports gun rights, and has a strong antiabortion record.

Here is more from the MSM on Ms. Palin:

"A valentine to evangelical base; Mother of 5 plays well with conservatives" by Joseph Williams, Globe Staff | August 30, 2008

DENVER - According to an October 2006 profile in the Anchorage Daily News, Palin opposes stem cell research, physician-assisted suicide, and state health benefits for same-sex partners.

And check out this SKEWED BIOGRAPHY the Globe provides.

Read McCain's Judgment in Question After VP Pick first.

When I say obfuscation and distortion, I mean it!

Raised in a religious household, her faith apparently emerged at a young age: a photo of her from a high school yearbook on the Wasilla High website carries a Biblical caption: "He is the light and the light is the life. SH" While in high school she headed her high school's Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Please remember how faithful she is, 'kay?

In college, Palin competed in the Miss Wasilla beauty pageant in 1984 while working toward the communications degree she received at the University of Idaho in 1987. She won her hometown's competition and was named Miss Congeniality in the statewide event.

Why nothing about the topless photos?

After graduating from college, Palin began working in communications for various business and development concerns such as the Alaska Miners Association and the Alaska Development Council, according to her official governor's campaign biography.

A year after graduating from college, she eloped with Todd Palin, her high school sweetheart, and was married in a civil ceremony.

Nothing about the pot-smoking, huh?

DENVER - The surprise announcement, made after a frenzy of misguided speculation by cable television, blogs, and newspapers, seemed to have been engineered by the McCain campaign to draw as much attention to the selection process as the choice itself.

Yeah, the difference is, the MSM was engaged in distractive finger-pointing; bloggers were interested in stopping Joe Lieberman from being the VP, and we won!!!

She is an obvious bridge to women voters, including the many Democrats who supported Hillary Clinton in the primaries.

Hillary Supporters Back Palin

So says the AmeriKa's falgship purveyor of horseshit!

"Can You Cross Out ‘Hillary’ and Write ‘Sarah’? "by Kate Zernike

Democrats, who make up the party that has long claimed the bigger pool of up-and-coming women, were quick to dismiss Ms. Palin as not experienced enough to be a heartbeat from the presidency. Mrs. Clinton’s supporters will never back her, they insisted, because she is against abortion rights.

Not. So. Fast. That underestimated, or at least underappreciated, the raw feelings of many Clinton supporters, and particularly the women among them, despite the almost flawless display of harmony in Denver.

At the very least, Ms. Palin’s selection unleashes gender as a live issue again, just when Democrats thought they had it under control. (This might not be a bad time for Mr. Obama to reconsider that question of retiring Mrs. Clinton’s campaign debt.)

What is that, a little NYT joke? Look at this shit fucking journalism.

Yeah, the gender issue is live again -- just as the agenda-pushing dividers and propagandists at the NYT want!

And I guess gender is only an issue for Democrats, huh? I guess Republicans are allowed to be misogynists, etc., that's not a problem.

Lynn Hackney and Kim Hoover might perfectly illustrate the emotions of those whom Ms. Palin counts as “not finished yet.” They had gathered 20 equally passionate Hillary supporters at their home in Washington on Tuesday to watch Mrs. Clinton’s speech. “The Kleenex was flowing,” said Ms. Hackney, who declared the speech “brilliant.”

Thursday, when 38 million Americans watched Mr. Obama’s speech, they watched a movie, “The Squid and the Whale.” No matter what Mrs. Clinton urged, they cannot support Mr. Obama.

“To go against Hillary is not easy for us,” Ms. Hackney said. “We don’t take that lightly. We just don’t think he has a message. We don’t think he’s good for women.”

And McCain is better for you?

“It’s not about being bitter for Hillary,” she said. Still, “I think the Democratic Party took women for granted in the primary, they didn’t step on sexism when they should have, and I can’t support them.” Her phone, she said, began “burning up” when Mr. McCain announced Ms. Palin as his choice. “The fact that he went out on a limb to pick a woman, I’m very impressed by that.”

Then go ahead and vote for the fossil, who gives a fuck?

Yes, they said, they were troubled by Ms. Palin’s opposition to abortion rights. But Ms. Hoover said she felt betrayed by pro-choice groups, and in particular politicians like Senators Claire McCaskill of Missouri and Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, who were helped into office by pro-choice groups like Emily’s List but came out early to support Mr. Obama over Mrs. Clinton, despite her being the first viable pro-choice woman to run for president.

Ms. Hoover has stopped giving to Emily’s List as a result. “It doesn’t make sense to me that, frankly, Emily’s List didn’t hold them accountable for having been elected on that platform but then not supporting that platform,” she said. “The setback for the pro-choice movement is almost deserved.”

That makes me HAPPY! See: My Abortion Evolution

How are they not supporting the platform? Obama is pro-choice, too!!

These bitches will grab at anything to hold on to their bitterness.

Let it go, "ladies."

Lanny Davis, who was special counsel to President Bill Clinton and who came to exemplify the die-hard Hillary Clinton supporter so much that he was barely speaking to a son who supports Mr. Obama.

And these are the "tolerant" liberals, huh (Davis also a Zionist, readers)?

At the same time, the move is such a bald bid for the women’s vote that it might backfire. It seems likely that most Clinton supporters backed their candidate for her experience, not her gender. They may resent being reduced to the sum of their hormones.

They don't seem to resent when the paper turns every woman's issue into a referendum on abortion. I guess women don't care about war, peace, economy, spying, etc, etc, etc. They only care about themselves, huh, NYT?

The Curse of the Vice-Presidency

"Obama's Cheney; Is there a curse on the office of the Vice President?

by Justin Raimondo

The office of the Vice President has surely undergone a transformation in recent years: from Dan Quayle to Dick Cheney is a long way to travel. The role of the VP, with Cheney acting as the eminence grise of the Bush regime – and, some would say, the real President – has been amplified to the nth degree, and it looks like the administration of Barack Obama is going to continue this ominous tradition.

Joe Biden on the ticket with Obama, as we said on Monday, is a big victory for the War Party, which will not, as a result, be shut out of power if the Democrats take the White House. Today Biden denounces the Iraq war in passionate language, and yet it seems like only yesterday that he bloviated on the need to invade with equal if not more passion. Indeed, as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Biden prevented any and all antiwar voices from being given a podium at the Senate hearings.

Aside from that, however, he was one of the earliest proponents of the "revanchist Russia" meme that glides merrily along on the strength of pure alliteration, and now has gained a lot of momentum since Georgia's invasion of South Ossetia was magically turned into Russia's "invasion" of Georgia. He just couldn't help himself, in his speech to the Democratic convention, in bringing up the alleged Russian "threat":

"For the last seven years, this administration has failed to face the biggest forces shaping this century: the emergence of Russia, China and India as great powers; the spread of lethal weapons; the shortage of secure supplies of energy, food and water; the challenge of climate change; and the resurgence of fundamentalism in Afghanistan and Pakistan, the real central front against terrorism.

"In recent days, we've once again seen the consequences of this neglect with Russia's challenge to the free and democratic country of Georgia. Barack Obama and I will end this neglect. We will hold Russia accountable for its actions, and we'll help the people of Georgia rebuild."

Russia must be held "accountable" for defending the militarily helpless statelet of South Ossetia under attack from the US-armedand-trained Georgian military – accountable for avenging a merciless assault on the Ossetian capital city of Tskinvali. Naturally, the U.S. is never to be held accountable for any of its actions anywhere. The U.S. government, you see, is not accountable, not even to its own citizens.

Biden sees the Russian "invasion" as a game-changer, a pivotal event that perhaps marks the beginning of a new cold war – and a new bout of U.S. meddling in the region. Upon his return from a trip to Tbilisi, the Georgian capital, Biden averred:

"The war that began in Georgia is no longer about that country alone. It has become a question of whether and how the West will stand up for the rights of free people throughout the region. The outcome there will determine whether we realize the grand ambition of a Europe that is whole, free, and at peace."

The man-who-would-be-Dick-Cheney is not going to allow the conflict to be contained: no, it must ripple outward, with a little help from the U.S. government and its regional satraps, like a tsunami, flooding the region with inter-ethnic strife and violence.

Biden is going to put our money where his mouth is, proposing a $1 billion "emergency" aid package for Saakashvili's regime to do with as it pleases. That the greater part of this will go to revamping the Georgian military – which has already received billions from the U.S. – rather than the long-suffering people of, say, Abkhazia (the scene of repeated Georgian invasions), goes without saying.

Obama, say the "national security Democrats" (i.e. warmongers of the "left"), has to appear "tough." That's why he chose Biden, and why he's now in a virtual competition with John McCain to see who can antagonize the Russians the quickest, as this pathetic story in the Los Angeles Times blog makes all too clear:

"When the war between Georgia and Russia first broke out, Democrat Barack Obama was in Hawaii, on vacation. He interrupted his holiday to issue a statement of support for Georgia. But his words were more measured – and came later – than either the White House response or Republican John McCain's."

Measured words – what a sissy! And they came too late: in the rapid-fire world of the War Party, the early war-bird gets the worm! Ah, but not to worry, here comes Obama making up for lost time:

"This week, Obama beat the White House by more than an hour, and McCain by two. Could it be that Senate Foreign Relations Committee Joe Biden, newly added to the Obama team as his running mate, has added some muscle?

"The speeded-up Obama response came after Russia recognized two breakaway regions – Abkhazia and South Ossetia – as independent countries.

"In his statement, issued around 2 p.m. EDT Tuesday, Obama said the White House should call for a U.N. Security Council meeting to condemn Russia's action. About 45 minutes later, the White House issued a statement from President Bush, vacationing at his ranch in Crawford. He too condemned the Russian ploy, saying, ‘We expect Russia to live up to its international commitments.'

"McCain weighed in around 4 p.m. EDT, nearly two hours after Obama and more than an hour after the White House. In some ways it was the most tempered of the three statements, saying Moscow's action ‘deserves condemnation from the entire international community.'"

The UN should condemn Abkhazia and South Ossetia because they don't want to live under a regime that has bombed them on several occasions, killing thousands? Obama, who reportedly is "advised" by over two-hundred foreign policy mavens of various stripes, ought to dump that crowd and commune with his own conscience, if he has one.

As ships from NATO countries make provocative incursions into the Black Sea – right at Russia's doorstep – and Bloviator Biden waxes rhetorical over the prospect of confronting Vladimir Putin, it looks like we're going to go head-to-head and nose-to-nose with Russia no matter who wins the White House this time around.

Why don't the peoples of South Ossetia and Abkhazia have the right to live under the government of their own choice? What is it with these exporters of "democracy" – why is it we never hear any talk of holding a plebiscite in these disputed regions. Oh, wait, they did hold a plebiscite – several, in fact, but the West refused to recognize the results.

Think peace is going to break out when the multi-culti messiah puts his feet up on the desk in the Oval Office? Well, I hate to disappoint all you loyal Democrats – and optimistic sorts – out there, but you had better think again ….

Biden's connections to the region are suspicious, to say the least. When lobbyist Stephen Payne was caught on tape saying he could arrange for the rehabilitation of a certain Central Asian ex-dictator for a hefty "donation" to the Bush library, he also mentioned that Biden could be brought along – presumably for a price. Bruce Ettinger, formerly Biden's director of legislative affairs, is Payne's business partner.

Biden's dubious involvement in the politics of the region is underscored by his most recent moral crusade: a bid, in tandem with the Heritage Foundation and other neoconservative groups in Washington, to publicize the plight of "democrats" in the oil-rich nation of Kazakhstan. His recent letter to the President of that country, chiding him for his country's lack of democracy, may have something to do with Kazakhstan's recent decision to consider pumping its oil through Russian pipelines, rather than through the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan route that U.S. and British investors have such a major stake in.

Kazakhstan has so far only had to endure Borat's ridicule: the future, however, looks increasingly problematic. That country is a veritable caricature of Asian despotism, with a very thin "democratic" veneer covering up the core of corruption, venality, and violent repression at the heart of what is essentially a family-run dictatorship. The Bush administration, which purportedly wants to "export democracy" to the Middle East – and indeed the whole world – has made a notable exception in Kazakhstan's case.

The repressive nature of the regime won't necessarily stop the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe from allowing the Kazakhs to take the rotating presidency of united Europe's nascent military-diplomatic arm. Of course, it beggars belief that Kazakhstan could even be admitted to the OSCE, never mind being awarded the presidency – after all, the country isn't even in Europe! (Then again, neither is Georgia …)

But no matter. While the OSCE lectures the Russians about their lack of commitment to "democracy," Kazakhstan is going to be inducted into the anti-Russian popular front of "democratic" countries, alongside Poor Little Georgia and Azerbaijan (which neoconnnish right-wingers like Andrew Breitbart and Rob Long have recently flocked to, always a bad sign).

The Republicans, for once, are relatively soft-core, compared to the Democrats, when it comes to putting pressure on the Kazakhs and others in the region – up to and including the threat of regime-change – to get with the program. That's because the Democrats have just as much if not more invested in opening up the "silk road" to riches, transporting the vast oil and natural gas deposits waiting to be uncovered beneath the Caspian Sea and exported to the West: Bill Clinton's administration devoted an entire sub-agency to realizing this get-rich-quick scheme cooked up by Western oil companies and corporate lobbyists. Millions of taxpayer dollars were poured into this project, and, today, it is a reality that is threatened by the Russians, the prospect of strife in the Caucasus, and the wave of resurgent nationalism sweeping through the region.

A lot of money has been invested in this deal – too much for the oil companies to just get up and walk away from. Using the U.S. Treasury as their private piggy bank – and, ultimately, the U.S. military as their private security force – the investors have bought themselves a lot of influence on Capitol Hill, in both parties. Not only the owners and the oil companies, but also the big investment bankers betting on the success of the BTC pipeline, have a direct interest in getting us even more involved in the region than we already are.

One possible reason for Biden's sudden interest in the politics of Kazakhstan is that the Kazakhs have been making trouble, lately, demanding a bigger share of the profits, and blaming the oil companies for delays in actually implementing the project. Could this be why Biden is suddenly making noises about that country's lack of democratic institutions? Funny, that didn't stop Biden and others from voting millions to subsidize the BTC pipeline, which benefits the Kazakh government, as well as enriching the fulsomely anti-democratic regime in Azerbaijan, another oil-rich neo-Soviet tyranny through which the pipeline passes. And of course Georgia, too, is supposed to be "democratic," which, by regional standards, it is: never mind that President Mikheil Saakashvili accused his election opponents of "treason," had them arrested, and closed down the major opposition television station run by the opposition. Saakashvili's thugs intruded right on to the set and pulled the news anchors out of their chairs! In Azerbaijan, on the other hand, they might have shot them on the spot …

Under a Democratic administration, we will see increased U.S. intervention in the Caucasus and Central Asia. The encirclement of Russia, a project begun by the Bush administration, will be continued and perhaps completed by the Obama administration – if there is one. We may be out of Iraq, but we could very well be knee-deep in Georgia (and Kazakhstan, god forbid). Of course, in true Democratic style, we'll do it with the full cooperation of our European allies, in the spirit of sharing the loot – and there's a lot of loot to go around.

In America, crony capitalism is in full bloom, and there is every indication that it will luxuriate and even reach full flower no matter who wins the next presidential election. In Obama's America, like Bush's, the system will be fully in place, and Biden's ascension to the number two spot on the Democratic ticket assures the ruling elite that they will endure.

What is it about the office of the vice president? Is there a curse on it? Seems like it…

Fighter jets bombed Taliban hide-outs in Pakistan's troubled northwest while troops pushed into militant territory on the ground, killing at least 40 insurgents in a 24-hour siege, the army said Saturday.

Separately, five others died when an explosion ripped through a house near the Afghan border, local officials said. Claims that it was a missile strike could not immediately be confirmed.

Pakistan's economy is sinking, power outages are common, there are food shortages, and many drivers cannot afford to fill up their tanks. More than 200,000 others have been forced to flee their homes, most of them women and children, and are now living in desperate conditions in sweltering, mosquito-infested relief camps.

Human rights groups expressed concern Saturday about the rising violence. Locals "insist there is no targeted operation against militants, rather it is a haphazard armed invasion on the people of Swat," Asma Jahangir, chairwoman of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, wrote in a letter to the prime minister.

In other violence Saturday, a blast ripped through a home in Wana, a main town in the South Wazirtistan tribal region, killing at least five militants, said Afzal Khan, a local official, who had no further details.

Cutting the AP Loose

You can't see it, readers, but there is a big smile on my face!

"‘Star Tribune’ Latest Paper Planning to Drop AP

By Joe Strupp ∙ Editor & Publisher ∙ August 27

The Star Tribune of Minneapolis has become the latest, and so far the largest, daily newspaper to inform the Associated Press that it plans to drop the service in two years.

MinnPost.com reports that the paper informed AP that it will no longer use the service as of the fall of 2010. AP requires that member newspapers give two years’ notice before dropping the service.

“It’s hard to imagine: the Star Tribune without the Associated Press. But that’s what could happen in 2010; the region’s biggest news source recently sent the nation’s most prominent wire service the required two years’ cancellation notice,” MinnPost.com’s David Brauer reported, adding “If a split comes to pass, Strib readers will notice changes from the biggest international headlines to the smallest sports agate type. Just this morning, I counted at least 18 AP stories or photos in the Strib’s news sections; a wire-service credit was attached nearly all the national sports news and briefs, plus a half-dozen business and Variety items.”

Star Tribune Managing Editor Rene Sanchez told the Web site that “we have the utmost respect for AP; this is not a hostile gesture by any means … It’s the beginning of an assessment of our business model, not the end.”

The Star Tribune joins a string of other daily papers who have either given notice or revealed plans to cut the service in recent months. Those include The Spokesman-Review of Spokane, Wash.; The Post Register of Idaho Falls; The Bakersfield Californian; and The Yakima Herald-Republic and Wenatchee World, both in Washington.

The recent decisions to drop AP service follow a planned AP rate structure change, which was announced in 2007 and takes effect in 2009. The rate change has already prompted complaints from numerous newspapers, including two groups of editors who wrote angry letters to AP to complain in late 2007 and early 2008.

One group included editors from Ohio, while the other spanned The Boston Globe, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, and the Star Tribune’s own editor, Nancy Barnes.

Under current AP policy, each newspaper buys a package of general news created by AP based on that paper’s location and circulation. The package usually includes breaking news, sports, business, and other national, international, and regional news relevant to the client’s market, including its state AP wire.

Under the new structure, AP member newspapers will receive all breaking news worldwide (including items from other state wires), as well as breaking sports, business, and entertainment stories. In addition, a package of premium content — made up of five types of non-breaking stories including sports, entertainment, business, lifestyle and analysis — will be available at an additional cost.

When the new structure was announced in 2007, AP promised a combined savings of $5.6 million across newspaper member budgets, which increased to $14 million — and, finally, $21 million just days before the April annual AP meeting.

AP officials said member newspapers would begin to find out in July what their exact fees would be for 2009, which prompted several of the recent decisions — and could result in other newspapers announcing their cuts of the service before the end of the year.

Russia Warns NATO

"Russia Issues War Warning to NATO

by the Earl of Stirling
8-30-08

As the attention of the America public is focused on the American election, with the Democratic Convention having just ended, and the announcement today of McCain's female running mate, and the Republican Convention next week, the public has missed something. Something not missed by Europeans, even mainstream European news media have given broad coverage to the story.
Just a minor story, really, no need to turn your attention away from the political puff that is American electoral politics. Just something about Russia (you know the big country with tens of thousands of nuclear weapons and advanced delivery systems) and a clear WAR WARNING TO NATO.

In what is the most serious international crisis since the Cuban Missile Crisis almost caused World War III forty-five years ago, Russia has issued a War Warning to NATO and America. "If NATO suddenly takes military actions against Abkhazia and South Ossetia, acting solely in support of Tbilisi, this will mean a declaration of war on Russia," said the Russian Ambassador to NATO, Mr. Dmitry Rogozin. Further, Russia is making it clear that military assistance to Georgia will be considered an act of war. Ambassador Rogozin likened the current crisis to the fevered diplomatic atmosphere in Europe just before the start of the First World War. World War I was said to start when "the lights went out in the chancelleries of Europe" and diplomatic measures failed.

A top Russian military figure, the President of the Academy of Geopolitical Studies (in Moscow) Colonel General Leonid Ivashov said "We are close to a serious conflict". With regard to the Georgia-South Ossetian conflict, General Ivashov said that one of the principal goals of NATO's "geopolitical operation" was to neutralize Russia as a global player in the run-up to a war with Iran.

The British publication, 'This is London', calls the Russian position, as articulated by Ambassador Rogozin, an "extraordinary warning to the West".

Another leading London newspaper, 'The Mail', said "Tensions between Russia and the West were ratcheted even higher today after Moscow warned that the American naval build-up in the Black Sea could be seen as a 'declaration of war'."

While I am not heading for the nuclear bomb shelter, I do think that this is serious. One of the main fears has been what the crazy neo-con Administration of George Bush and Dick Cheney would do in its final months in power. Would they begin yet a third war, this time with an Iran armed with advanced biological weapons of mass destruction capable of killing maybe a third of the human race? The answer to that is still up in the air, but it appears that the overall answer is much worse than anyone thought.

The Bush Administration funded a buildup of the Georgian Army and recently sent about a thousand US Marines to train the Georgian troops. Israel and the United States sold a large amount of military technology and hardware to Georgia. Israeli companies, headed by reserve Israeli generals, brought in excess of a thousand Israeli mercenaries into Georgia and two senior, recently retired Israeli generals provided senior command "consulting" to the Georgian General Staff. All of this turned very ugly, when on 8/8/08 the Georgian forces attacked lightly armed Russian peace keepers along with many innocent Russian civilians using volley fire from massed tubeless artillery. Over 1,400 men, women, and children were killed in their own homes without warning, in the opening minutes (with over 2,000 killed in the five day war). In response to this, Russia sent in her troops and most Georgian troops retreated (some "retreated" so fast that they threw away their uniforms, guns, and equipment as they ran home).

The Russians, by most accounts, behaved well and stopped short of the Georgian capital. However, to hear the neo-con political leaders in the United States, France, and the United Kingdom tell it, the Russians attacked a defenseless nation that had done nothing to provoke the attack. Increasingly the neo-con owned mainstream news media is spinning the story into one of Russian aggression, making the Russians out to be the bad guys and ignoring the murder of thousands of civilians by the Georgian/Israeli forces.

Russian's deputy military chief, Col. Gen. Anatoly Nogovitsyn, has warned that NATO has already exhausted the number of naval forces it can have in the Black Sea under the Montreux Convention (an international treaty dating to 1936 that governs the number, type, and tonnage of warships allowed to pass the Turkish Straits ~ the Bosporus and the Dardanells ~ into the Black Sea) and warned Western nations against sending more ships. The Montreux Convention allows the NATO ships to stay no longer than 21 days and limits the total number to nine warships (the current number).

If the Convention treaty is violated by NATO it will be a technical state of war. Russia has warned Turkey that she will be held responsible if additional warships are allowed into the Black Sea; already Turkey has prevented some US naval ships from entering. The total tonnage limit on naval ships is 45,000 tons. The US sought to send the USNS Comfort and the USNS Mercy, hospital ships whose tonnages both exceeded 69,000 tons each, through the Turkish Straits but Turkey would not allow it. As the hospital ships are not really needed, this was simply an attempt by the Bush Administration to violate the Montreux Convention and to get by with it by insisting that no rational nation could object to hospital ships. General Nogovitsyn has pointed out that US Navy ships in the Black Sea have nuclear armed cruise missiles capable of striking at most of European Russia including St. Petersburg and that these ships are considered "a serious threat to our security".

The Russians suspect that the US Navy is delivering arms to Georgia under the cover of civilian aid. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said, "Normally battleships do not deliver aid and this is battleship diplomacy, this does not make the situation more stable".

Russian Admiral Eduard Balin (former commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet) was quoted by Russian news media as saying, "Despite the apparent strength of the NATO naval group in the Black Sea....a single salvo from the Moskva missile cruiser and two or thee missile boats would be enough to annihilate the entire group. Within twenty minutes the waters would be clear." The Moskva is the world's only currently serving 'heavy battle cruiser' and the most powerful non-carrier surface ship in the world.

British neo-con leader, Prime Minister Gordon Brown will attend an unprecedented emergency summit of leaders of the EU's 27 member states this coming Monday, in Brussels, to discuss the EU's response to Russia's actions. Sanctions are expected to be on the agenda to punish Russia for its "aggression". Fears are being expressed in Europe that Russia may restrict oil deliveries to Western Europe over the next few days, in response to the threat of EU sanctions and NATO actions in the Black Sea. This would be a dramatic escalation of the Georgian crisis and would play hell with global oil markets.

In a related story, Lebanese television and other sources are reporting that the Israeli government has reached a "strategic decision on Iran". That Israel will strike Iran, eventually (alone if necessary). The Jerusalem Post says that the Israeli government is moving forward with plans for the purchase of special aircraft and working on receiving US government approval to use US controlled Iraqi airspace for an attack on Iran.

It is interesting that more and more publications, from the right, center and left (including pro-neo-con and anti-neo-con), are speaking of World War III. An interesting article by Stratfor (generally pro-Israel and pro-neo-con) and reprinted by finchannel.com (a strongly pro-neo-con publication) speaks of Turkey's Options in the coming Third World War.

What the crazy evil Bush/Cheney Administration has done is to move the world close to World War III by bringing the Russians into the neo-con ever growing nightmare of war; 8/8/08 was the Russian 9/11 brought to you by the same people who gave America its 9/11, Britain its 7/7, etc.

There are various theories as to why the United States (or more specifically why the neo-cons who control the US government) would want to push Russia into a global war; just as there are various theories why tiny Israel would want to involve itself in a battle against a massive nuclear power like Russia, who could turn Iran and Syria into nuclear armed states overnight if it chose to.

Many say that the neo-cons are simply crazy and that their maneuvers have failed. Others would say that the neo-cons are simply pawns in a larger Grand Strategy game that the global banking families have been playing for a couple of centuries and that a Third World War is required to establish the New World Order/global government that they intend to establish and establish soon. If the latter is the case, a little thing like advanced 21st Century warfare will get in the way. There is simply NO WAY that mankind can survive a Third World War, except for Divine intervention. The levels of destructive firepower and technology are simply too great.

Americans Can Kill Afghans With Impunity

Can you say fascist dictatorship, America?

Because you got a fuehrer!!!!!

"The note delves into arcane issues such as customs duties and driver's licenses. It devotes only a few sentences to "the conduct of ongoing military operations," giving US troops "a status equivalent" to diplomatic immunity and exempting them from any Afghan "disciplinary authority" or legal jurisdiction"

"US, Afghan military relations governed by diplomatic note" by Karen DeYoung, Washington Post | August 30, 2008

WASHINGTON - For the past six years, military relations between the United States and Afghanistan have been governed by a two-page "diplomatic note" giving US forces virtual carte blanche to conduct operations as they see fit.

Although President Bush pledged in a 2005 declaration signed with Afghan President Hamid Karzai to "develop appropriate arrangements and agreements" formally spelling out the terms of the US troop presence and other bilateral ties, no such agreements were ever drawn up.

But following a US-led airstrike last week that United Nations and Afghan officials have said killed up to 90 civilians - most of them children - Karzai has publicly called for a review of all foreign forces in Afghanistan and a formal "status of forces agreement," along the lines of an accord now being negotiated between the United States and Iraq.

The prospect of codifying the ad hoc rules under which US forces have operated in Afghanistan since 2001 sends shudders through the Bush administration. Although most civilian war deaths in Afghanistan are caused by Taliban forces, those resulting from the highly visible airstrikes are a particular cause of public outrage that neither Karzai nor the administration can afford to ignore.

Yeah, the Taliban are the ones doing the killing.

I'm so sick of this jewpress shit, I'm really at the point of exploding, readers!

And HOW MANY AIRSTRIKES ARE WE IGNORING, shit AmeriKan MSM?!

US forces operate up to 90 percent of all strike aircraft in the country.

Translation: the MURDERS are OURS, Americans! Ain't you proud?

The note delves into arcane issues such as customs duties and driver's licenses. It devotes only a few sentences to "the conduct of ongoing military operations," giving US troops "a status equivalent" to diplomatic immunity and exempting them from any Afghan "disciplinary authority" or legal jurisdiction.

Similar legal immunity is included in US status-of-forces agreements with more than 80 countries. Civilian casualties, long a recurring problem in Afghanistan, tripled last year as thinly spread US and NATO forces grew more dependent on air power against a resurgent Taliban.

Yeah, but it is the Taliban responsible for killoing most. FUCK YOU, you fucking piece if shit Jew War Daily!!!!!!

Yeah, I AM FUCKING RAGING which is why I want to QUIT THESE PAPERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Although the number of civilian deaths attributed to international forces during combat action on the ground has remained relatively static at fewer than 100 each year, casualties due to air strikes have reached more than 200 through the first eight months of this year, compared with 321 in 2007 and 116 in 2006.

Translation: The "international forces" are HIDING THEIR MASS-MURDER!!!!!! With the AMERIKAN JEWSMEDIA'S HELP!!!!!!

So how do you know I'm right and they are liars, readers? Observe:

"Joint inquiry on deaths of Afghans proposed" by Carlotta Gall, New York Times News Service | August 30, 2008

KABUL, Afghanistan - In an interview in his Kabul headquarters, General David D. McKiernan said he did not agree with the UN and Afghan government reports that as many as 90 civilians had been killed in the bombardment. But he raised the military's tally of all those killed, including militants, to up to 40.

And your proof is what, mass-murdering asshole? Because YOU SAY SO?

Then FUCK YOU, general!!! FUCK YOU STRAIGHT TO HELL, you MASS-MURDERING ASSHOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!

His overall estimate was slightly higher than that of an official Pentagon review released this week, which repeats the military's earlier assessment that five civilians and 25 militants were killed in the raid on the night of Aug. 21 and into the early morning of Aug. 22. But McKiernan also contended only five civilians had been killed.

How do they know that? What investigating did this prick-shit military do?

Answer: NONE!!!! They are JUST SAYING IT!

Nothing worse than a murderer except a MASS-MURDERER who DENYS IT!!!!!

And THAT is your AMERIKAN MILITARY, AmeriKa!! You so proud?!!

If the Afghan and UN reports prove to be accurate, the raid by US and Afghan special operations forces on the village of Azizabad may have been the deadliest for civilians of any carried out by US forces in Afghanistan since 2001. It has also exposed a wide gulf between the US military and the United Nations and Afghan government.

Do they ever qualify the "sucide" bombers, readers? Ever give them an IF?!?

And as far as the UN vs. the US, I'll believe the U.N. on this one!!!

AmeriKa's military LIES!!!!!!!!

McKiernan said he was not informed before the UN special representative in Afghanistan, Kai Eide, issued his statement that a human rights team had found convincing evidence that 90 people, including 60 children, had been killed in the air strikes.

"I am very disappointed in the United Nations because they have not talked to this headquarters before they made that release," the general said. "I share his concern about civilian casualties," he said of Eide. "But what I believe is that we have to work together to find out what the facts are before we make public announcements."

This from the KNEE-JERK DENIERS who then come back after their "investigations" and say, yeah, we did it!!

Finding out facts before making public announcemnets might be a good idea for your LYING, LAW-BREAKING, MASS-MURDERING, WAR-CRIMINAL BOSSES, too, asshole!!!!!!

So, FUCK YOU, FUCK YOU, FUCK YOU, mass-murdering shit bag!!!!!!!

Yeah, I am PISSED OFF BEYOND BELIEF because I am TIRED of this BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!

Ossetia to Become Alania, Join Russian Federation

I'm ALL FOR IT!!!

"Georgia to cut diplomatic ties with Russia;Protests troops on its territory" by Misha Dzhindhzikhashvili, Associated Press | August 30, 2008

TBILISI, Georgia - Adding to the tension, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said Russia will not be isolated over its conduct in Georgia and warned Europe that it shouldn't cater to the United States.

"If European countries want to serve the foreign policy interests of the United States, in my view they won't win anything from this," Putin said in an interview with Germany's ARD television before a European Union meeting in Brussels on Monday about the Georgia crisis and relations with Russia.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Tuesday that there was no reason South Ossetia could not exist as an independent state, and that recognition was not meant as a prelude to Russian absorption. But he did not expressly rule it out.

Said Tuesday?! Then WTF is this doing in a report on SATURDAY, readers?

"Soon there will be no North or South Ossetia - there will be a united Alania as part of Russia," South Ossetia's deputy parliamentary speaker Tarzan Kokoiti said, using another name for Ossetia. "We will live in one united Russian state," he said.

Katrina the Sequel

God is speaking to you, Americans, and he ain't happy with you and your mass-murdering ways.

"Gustav strengthens into hurricane; Katrina's 3d anniversary is marked ; May strike US by next week" by John Moreno Gonzales, Associated Press | August 30, 2008

NEW ORLEANS - The news came only hours after New Orleans laid to rest the last seven unclaimed Katrina victims. A horse-drawn carriage brought the bodies for entombment at a memorial site, and the mayor helped guide a gleaming casket into a mausoleum.

They are only consecrating the bodies from Katrina NOW -- just in time for the next killer!!!? Can you say GOVERNMENT NEGLIGENCE, readers?!

The ceremonies were tinged with an awareness of how far the city has come since Katrina, but also a trepidation about the possibility of another storm.

Oh, really?

"Though pockets of New Orleans are well on the way to recovery, many neighborhoods have struggled. Many residents still live in temporary trailers, and shuttered homes still bear the black "X" that was painted to help rescue teams looking for the dead."

Doesn't sound like it has come that far -- unless you are an elite richer and their MSM mouthpiece!

"I think God is reminding us that on the eve of Katrina, God can bring nature back," said Russell Honore, the retired Army general who headed up rescue efforts three years ago.

See? Even the general agrees!!!

Gustav has been blamed for 71 deaths on its path through Haiti, the Dominican Republic and Jamaica.

That number goes up every day, but still gets one sentence.

Governor Haley Barbour of Mississippi had already called for the evacuation of Katrina-scarred residents still living in trailers and other temporary housing.

Yeah, but the place has recovered. Still in those POISONOUS TRAILERS after THREE YEARS?

America, how much more evidence do need to convince you this government DOESN'T GIVE a SHIT about you?

This?: FEMA Seeks Immunity for Willful Negligence and Poisoning of Americans

New Orleans said it is prepared to move 30,000 residents in an evacuation. Unlike Katrina, there will be no massive shelter at the Superdome, in fact, no shelter at all was planned for the city. It was unclear what would happen to those left behind.

Well, we can take a pretty good guess based on the past conduct of this criminally negligent government!

Smithsonian Honey Pot

And YOU PAID FOR IT, American taxpayers!

You are PAYING FOR IT ALL while YOU are getting SCREWED!!!

One wonders: does the GOVERNMENT LOOTING NEVER END?!?

"Smithsonian to cut its executives' pay" by Brett Zongker, Associated Press | August 30, 2008

WASHINGTON - At least 17 Smithsonian Institution executives with six-figure salaries will see future pay cuts - many in the tens of thousands of dollars - under reforms adopted by the museum complex.

According to figures released recently by the Smithsonian Institution, the chief financial officer could see the biggest reduction. If the cuts planned for five years from now were made today, CFO Alice Maroni could lose as much as $120,000, or 41 percent of her base salary of $293,280. Others could see reductions of more than $80,000 a year.

Isn't that a BIT MUCH?!?!

Nonprofit watchdogs and members of Congress have been questioning salaries at the Smithsonian since former Secretary Lawrence Small's compensation grew to nearly $916,000 for 2007. Small resigned in March 2007 when it was revealed he was also charging the Smithsonian for housekeeping and repairs to his home swimming pool, among other expenses.

Yup, we got TRILLIONS for WARS, and BILLIONS for BANKS and ISRAEL, and THOUSANDS if not MILLIONS for GOVERNMENT LOOTERS, but NOTHING for the American people!!!!

How much longer are you going to put up with this band of criminals, thugs and thieves, America? How much LONGER?!

The Smithsonian will wait five years to reduce the 17 executives' salaries to blunt the impact and prevent a mass exodus.

WHY WAIT?!? FIVE YEARS?! WTF BULLSHIT IS THIS?

And THEY NEVER SEEM to worry about the impact of BUDGET REDUCTIONS and CUTS when it comes to the AMERICAN PEOPLE!!!!!

Yeah, I AM FUMING and FURIOUS, readers, how can you tell?

The jobs were targeted because they were similar to federal government positions that pay less. The federal government caps salaries for similar jobs at $158,500. When the Smithsonian looked at its books, it found 17 of 38 executives' salaries were over the cap.

It's called LOOTING!!!!!

It's difficult to say exactly how much the executives will lose in 2013 because the federal salary cap will probably be higher then.

War Criminal Has More Credibility Than U.S. Official

At this point, I'm willing to believe Karadzic over some gloabalist U.S. liar!

"Karadzic refuses to plead at tribunal; Bosnian Serb ex-chief challenges court's legitimacy" by Kevin Sullivan, Washington Post | August 30, 2008

LONDON - Former Bosnian Serb leader Radovan Karadzic has argued in submissions to the court that the proceedings against him are illegal because he was offered immunity from prosecution by former US diplomat Richard Holbrooke. Karadzic suggested that Holbrooke, who negotiated the Dayton peace agreement ending the Bosnian war, promised that Karadzic would not be sent to The Hague if he did not subvert the Dayton deal.

Holbrooke has denied any such arrangement, calling it a "completely untrue" and "an old story by one of the worst mass murderers in the world." Prosecutors told the court that even if such a deal existed, it would have no legal standing at the tribunal.

U.S breaking its word again.

"In March 2002, Milosevic presented the Hague tribunal with FBI documents proving that the United States government and NATO provided financial and military support for Al-Qaeda to aid the Kosovo Liberation Army in its war against Serbia.... Evidence linking him to genocides like Srebrenica, in which 7,000 Muslims died, was continually proven to be fraudulent. In fact, Srebrenica was supposedly a 'UN safe zone', yet just like Rwanda, UN peacekeepers deliberately withdrew and allowed the massacre to unfold, then blamed Milosevic."
