In the southern Gaza Strip, meanwhile, a huge blast rocked a training base run by the Islamic militant Hamas late yesterday, injuring at least five members of the group, witnesses and a health official said. Ambulances raced to the blast site - an evacuated Jewish settlement next to the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis.
It was not immediately known what caused the explosion. Neither Hamas nor the Israeli military had an immediate comment."I don't know what to make of it either.
